This weekend I'm back for my slot as "Ask The Expert" talking all things 🐶puppy 🐶 at Melbicks Garden Centre, I will be there after Puppy Hour answering questions if you're around please come say hi and look at all their amazing stock.
Then we have a Life Skills Walk for those wanting to practice their skills out and about.

Such a great day yesterday at The UK's College of Scent Detection Conference.
Learning and developing my own skills to pass on to you all makes me super happy, proud and excited. Continual education fills me with joy and something all proffesionals should be active in, for me it's more want than need... I want to know more, understand more and also love meeting up with lots of other amazing trainers whilst I'm there. The industry is small and they become like family.
Inspir...ed by the speakers and their on going research, which is mind blowing, neurologically speaking.... if fact there were lots of talk on things that were exploding yesterday 🐖🐖🐖

My Happy Dog offers LIFE SKILLS for all ages, these sessions are all about those key FUNdamentals which include:
Self/Impulse Control Staying Safe Calmness... Focus Fun Confidence
The sessions are held outdoors at my dedicated training venue at Hampton In Arden. Held on the following days:
Tuesday - 7m Wednesday - 11 am Thursday - 7 pm Saturday - 10 am (sometimes we run a Life Skills Walk on a Saturday)

Last night's group dog training session, learning new fun things and for these adolescent pups learning to take skills from indoors to outdoors.
Small groups allow plenty of 121 support for each individual dog as they all have different struggles.

We had such fun at the weekend Mantrailing, Rew loved it and was great fun catching up with some fellow trainers and meeting new ones.

Sat in the garden taking 5 mins with my fav bundle of, well needed groom, fluff....
Watching him happily play and search for new and exciting smells, chasing the odd fly and just loving life reminds me that all the simple things in life bring us such joy.

Hope you all had a 🌞great weekend 🌞and got plenty planned for this week, have you set any training goals🐶? Let me know what you and your🐶 pooch🐶 are up to?
Here's my week goals -
• Focus work - eye contact around distraction (garden disractions) ... • Calmness - increase duration for a chin rest
Daily fun goals -
• Paws on to different surfaces, planters in the village • Peekaboo anywhere, anytime and with different handlers (Rew with my niece below) • Hop On as many things as we come across like a giant deck chair....
There is so much on offer to have fun right under our noses, we can engage with our dogs and enjoy seeing them explore their environment, how lucky are we 🐾🐾
