Our Mission!

We have been so busy getting ready for our Halloween Party, which turned out to be a success!! The children arrived and scared us all with their halloween costumes and scary faces and tucked in to some spooky snacks...followed by pumpkin carving. HAPPY HALLOWEEN... From all of us at My Little Hive!

As part of our topic 'Seasons' we learn't about what we wear when it gets cold. So we created our own winter hats and scarfs using different textured materials.

This week we learn't about Hedgehogs and their quills. Did you know, the hedgehog got its name because of its peculiar foraging habits. They root through hedges and other undergrowth in search of their favourite food - small creatures such as insects, worms, centipedes, snails, mice, frogs, and snakes. As it moves through the hedges it emits pig-like grunts — thus, the name hedgehog.

mmm. This morning we had warm beans on toast for snack. All the children really enjoyed it and even asked for more!

Welcome Back! We returned back from the the summer holidays on the 5th September. Since then we've been up to loads, learning about the different seasons and going to the park to collect some leaves.

Our little Bee's had a fantastic day out at the Science Museum. We watched the bubble show and learnt lots of new facts about space!

Sorry we have not updated you all for a while. We have been super busy at My Little Hive, and have had our first Ofsted inspection.
We are so happy to tell you all that we have been given a GOOD rating!! we are now working towards improving our nursery even more to reach our OUTSTANDING goal!.

We have our first Ofsted inspection on Thursday the 28/4/16, so we will post the outcome in the next two weeks.

We learn many fun things at My Little Hive and this week we learnt the name for butterfly originally was flutterby...

Wonderful nursery, with caring, thoughful and safe environment. My daughter was really looked after and thoroughly enjoyed her time there.

I'm so sad my son had to leave as we start are new adventure. This is the best school buy far in the hole of Kensisgtion and Chelsea!! The teachers are amazing they look after your children like they was there own. They only have a small number of children then so they can give them one two. My son has grown so much from being there. I highly recommend it. We miss you lots love rocco and Rachel xxxxxz
