So, finally, the time has come! We’re very excited to announce- After 3 months of procrastinating, staring at blank walls and wondering how to make this second home of ours as unique and as personal as our first. What do we change? What should we keep? What colour should I paint this thing? And why on earth am I spending so much time at screwfix? But the biggest question of all- when should we open? So here goes, jumping in with both feet...31st July we’ll be an open house at My Neighbours the Dumplings, Victoria Park! And yes, the food is on us for our opening night. We’ll be opening for our first full service on the 1st August. Hope to see you all soon! Love, The Dumplings

Chinese skewers on the BBQ again tonight! Chicken thigh, Bavette, Lamb and Padron peppers with a cumin based spice mix. Bring on the sunshine!

So this is what stupid people look like! 2 kids and 2 restaurants in 3 years! Yes, the rumours are true, My Neighbours the Dumplings are coming to — Victoria Park!
Back when we first did pop ups, 5 years ago now, no kids, no jobs, no money! Carrying around all our 15 light boxes, food, kitchen equipment, full music set up, the works! Every week carrying all this upstairs to the palm2 event room. Going the extra mile trying to try get the experience just how we wanted it. Fri...endly, fun, interesting, personal and neighbourly! Fair enough, it gets pretty rocky a lot of the time. But you constantly grow, and try fix every issue so that your customers and staff enjoy their time here with us!
The further you go, the bigger the team gets, the more customers review - good and bad. So you take on the feedback and try to move forward hopefully making the right decisions along the way. The right decisions for everyone involved.
So here we are.. 2 kids and 2 restaurants. We might be stupid people! But we wouldn’t change it for the world! My Neighbours the Dumplings 178-180 Victoria Park Road BOOM!

Chinese Barbecue at My Neighbours! When the sun comes out so does the barbecue! This coming Monday and Tuesday we’ll be trying out some new barbecue dishes to go alongside our juicy dumplings. Come by and let us know what you think

⚡️Every first Saturday and so tomorrow as well, Abdoulaye Samb and Minnjiaraby playing Senegalese music downstairs in Matilda’s. Always great, come down 🤗 starts around 7.30

🐟 The Seabass. We steam it and serve with a soy glaze and coriander oil, fresh ginger and spring onion. It’s sustainable and gluten free and really very good. 🥢

We’re open outside today! Yes yes YES

Our crispy pork belly was originally my mum’s recipe, for the last 5 years we’ve worked to perfect it. We toast and grind the spices on site to make sure we pack in the flavour, we slow cook it for 3 hours to make sure the fat is rendered down, every inch of skin is pricked to make sure it’s as crispy as can be... it’s a labour of love - we hope you love it!
