My Own Midwife Description
MOM is run by four highly qualified midwives and is designed to be either a stand-alone service or to enhance your NHS care.
Our aim is to offer every woman greater choice, depth and flexibility in their care ensuring a happy, healthy and informed pregnancy.
Our bespoke approach means your care is tailored to your individual needs and requirements allowing you to access our services as little or as often as you like. All our appointments are made at your convenience on a one to one basis either at home, or our private consultation rooms at The BMI Alexandra Hospital, Cheshire. We believe that in addition to your clinical care you should be offered the time and scope to discuss your pregnancy and transition to parenthood in detail. We will go through any questions or concerns without the time constraints of routine NHS care, enabling you to have a fulfilling and rewarding experience.
MOM offers you the personal care and attention that you need throughout pregnancy and during the early days with your baby. Our team of midwives are dedicated to supporting you through this amazing journey.

All our midwives are NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registered and have a designated Supervisor of Midwives. My Own Midwife is insured for all antenatal and postnatal care and parent education with The Royal College of Nurses.
