Thanks to Fal River Cornwall for putting together this useful guide of things to see and do in and around the south west coastal footpath. #lovefalmouth #mylorlife #falriver

Our good friends at The Pandora Inn are just a short jaunt up the creek from us. A fantastic stop of point for great food and drink in one of the most beautiful locations (but we would say that wouldn’t we). Next time you are visiting why not moor up or take a creekside walk along from Mylor Harbour - it’s well worth a visit!

Here’s our marine engineer Chris fitting the new #SuzukiDF90 to the Mylor Sailing & Powerboat School’s Wheely Boat, which is now back in the water and raring to go! Another fast turn around by the #MarineTeam and a very happy customer. As a Suzuki Marine Dealer we have everything you need for fault finding, repair, servicing and engine sales here on site. We can even come to you #MobileMylor

This stunner is Dry Martini, a 1974 Cigarette Boat originally built on the notorious Thunder Boat Row in Miami Florida. She has travelled from Poole via road transport today and launched here at Mylor Yacht Harbour and will be taking part in the 2018 IPRC Race Weekend in Falmouth from tomorrow. She is 35ft of pure power and 1970’s glamour combined with twin engines boasting 650hp each. Look out for her in the bay this weekend. she's certainly eye catching. #ClassicOffshore #UKOPRA #Falmouthbay #IPRC

Raising money for The Urology Foundation and Children's Hospice South West. Keep up the great work guys! #twac2018 #AtlanicSeamen #madeoftoughstuff

Say hello to Rhys who joins us this season on the marina. He may be a familiar face to some of you already having started with us in April. Rhys got bitten by the sailing bug a few years ago and since then has obtained is Competent Crew and Yacht Master Qualifications. As well as all things sailing his hobbies extend to more land based pursuits in the form of restoring classic / retro / beaten up cars and vans. His latest project is a 1987 Type 25 VW camper van which he plans on taking around Europe at the end of the season. #Mylorlife #Myloryachtharbour #marinalife #bestmarinastaff

This rare beauty got into a spot of bother having lost a blade from her propeller recently. 'Pavan' is a Moody Carbineer 46 built in 1974, only one of 10 made. Recent prop problems nearly scuppered her plans to take part in this year’s Falmouth Classics. Had it not been for the fast reactions of our Marine Team engineers, who were able to source, machine, lift and fit a new 3 blade fixed propeller within 72 hours – much to the delight of her owner who will now be taking part in Falmouth Classics which started today!

We have our yacht moored here and it is beautiful! Its a perfect tucked away location, peaceful, relaxing and dog friendly with a great little beach to walk along, it's very handy having the cafe and Castaways too. The shower facilities are great and the water taxi is very good to have use of as well.

The best place in England what a find 10 years ago

User

Lovely place to have lunch and relax. Love looking at the boats.

User

Love the fact it is very dog friendly. There is a lovely cafe/restaraunt called CASTAWAY that is dog friendly inside and out. Enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee and cake. Views obviously stunning and you can enjoy a walk to flushing and back with the dog . Ample parking especially behind Mylor Yacht club/cafe. You can also redeem your car park voucher in both castaway and Mylor yacht club cafe if you spend over £3.00 BONUS!!! As a local this has now become a go to place for me and the dog as you can just chill, walk and watch the world sail by.

It was my first visit for 20 years. My brother and I came here for our holidays with our parents. We scattered their ashes over Mylor Harbour because the view is so amazing. It did not disappoint this time. Mylor is a little busier but it was beautiful. A lovely day spent reminising. Saying hello to the old folks and enjoying a pint in the bar. I wont leave it so long next time

It is the most charming place --We had the most enjoyable Lunch with Liza ⭐️Steve ⭐️Jane ⭐️Blowers and Myself at The Mylor Cafe

I like to visit Mylor Yacht Harbour whenever I am in Cornwall for a few nights. This time I needed their facilities as in showers, laundery, Chandlery and just because. The chaps and lady on the pontoons are always most courteous and helpful as are the office staff.

Yesterday's bad weather was made bearable because of being safely inside plus the cafe provided me with good food and today I was able to have a good walk around the quays and the Church. This Marina is well worth a visit. Cheers!

User

I am biased as we pay to keep our little boat here over the summer. Seems a lot of money up-front when you have to pay for the year ahead, but it is fab every visit, whatever the time of year. Get there early, parking easy, slipways normally busy but tidy. Cafe and shop facilities are reasonable and efficient: particularly Cafe Mylor and Castaways. Staff at Mylor Boat Hire always very friendly and helpful, even when you are just asking a favour. Sheltered water generally with the most amazing views.

User

Great standard of work and service from Mylor Yacht Harbour for an extensive refit of our Nauticat 43 ‘Venetian’ - many thanks to Nathan, Bob, Mark, Nick, and the Team - now time to go sailing!!

User

Great marina, great location really friendly and helpful staff...Great.

User

Fantastic location, fantastic service, fantastic professional staff, everything you need for your boat on site.

Beautiful harbour, the seaview and tops of masts are first seen as one descends past a church. Café Mylor is a great place for brunch (though the design of its menu does not reflect the quality of its great kitchen). A walk along the shore is lovely, even in bad weather. I went there to meet an old friend, Jamie Smith, who recommended it. Great choice.
