Today we introduce the director for our summer pantomime Aladdin.
Stephanie Harper
I will be directing this production of Aladdin with the help of Andrew Chorleton. I am Daniel’s mother and as such I have been Secretary/Treasurer for the business since it started. I have danced since the age of 2, done a lot of acting roles in my younger days and been a music teacher for most of my adult life. In the past I have written and directed pantomimes/plays for our church in Coventry and for the schools I worked in while in Iceland and Scotland. My favourite was directing the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta ‘Pirates of Penzance’. This is my first directing role for 15 years and I am enjoying it immensely. I sincerely hope you enjoy our interpretation of this wonderful pantomime.

Today we offer you our last 2 cast members, Miss Evie Bradburn who will play Jasmines handmaiden Penelope and Mr Andrew Cholerton who takes on our 'baddie' role of Abanazar.
Evie is playing the role of Penelope, she has a background in Performing Arts, Singing and Dancing and has been performing for the last 10 years. Evie has worked with Mystical Productions twice before singing at our Christmas Fayre here at Codsall Village Hall. Evie has performed at The Grand Theatre in W...olverhampton taking parts in the musicals ‘Cats’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’.
Andy has been Acting for many years (more than he would like to admit) and studied Drama at Wolverhampton University. He has been lucky enough to play many enjoyable characters with Codsall Dramatic Society and has worked on several of Mystical Productions ventures. The characters he has played for CDS range from Mr Darcy in Lizzie, Darcy & Jane, Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Jack/Ernest in The Importance of being Earnest. In the Society’s production of Alice Andy took several different roles which he enjoyed immensely; he will always be remembered for his powerful yet silent portrayal of Cookie. Andy is currently rehearsing the part of Owen for CDS’s production of The Vicar of Dibley. He is like looking forward to playing Abanazar and assisting Stephanie Harper with directorial duties in Aladdin.

Hi all, today we showcase our two magical people Alexandra Peccolo and Emily Brownhill, our Spirit of the Ring and Genie of the Lamp.
Emily has a National Diploma in Music and Sound Recording. She has worked for Zip Theatre as a Musician in their Rock School, touring schools in Wolverhampton providing Music Workshops and recording opportunities for local youngsters. She also toured with Zip Theatre as an actor. She has also acted for C.A.D.S and YETGA Theatre, her latest role... was ‘Bows’ in Cinderella in January 2019. She has taught Drama at pupil referral units at Ingestre Hall Arts centre and HMP Hewell in Redditch. Emily is primarily a singer who has been signed with Toni. This is her first role with Mystical Productions, playing Spirit of the Ring, a role she says she is thrilled to have been offered.
Alex studied Performing Arts at Suny Orange in New York, USA. She grew up in Brewood and played the part of Dorothy in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ while at school there. She was the singer for the Suny Orange Jazz Ensemble and a member of their madrigal choir while living in USA. Alex moved back to the UK 3 years ago and is currently a stay at home mom to her two amazing boys. This is her first role with Mystical Productions and will take on the part of The Genie of the Lamp.

Today we introduce you to our comedy duo Nic Tildesley and Vicky Green.
Nicky has been a Drama Teacher for 15 years and will be playing one half of our comedy duo ‘Nic’. She has remained behind the scenes for many years, doing props and stage manager jobs and this will be her first acting job for 12 years. She tells us she is absolutely loving bonding with this cast of highly talented actors.
Vicky has danced since the age of 5 and enjoyed several years as part of the Wolver...hampton Cancer Research Players in Musical Theatre. She has performed with Codsall Dramatic Society and enjoyed being a TV extra in the Nativity, Shameless and Waterloo Road. She loves ballroom dancing and her caravan was featured on Carry on caravan in 2016. Vicky is playing the second half of our comedy duo ‘Vic’. Vicky has worked with Mystical Productions for a few years, but this will be her first acting role for us.

Today we introduce our wonderful married couple Mr Geoff and Mrs Paula Regina Finney.
Paula studied Drama at Birmingham Theatre School. She has played both straight and comedy parts in plays over the years the most recent role was Madam Arcarti in Blythe Spirit. Paula was nominated for best actress in both Surrey and Sussex. Recently she has written and directed various plays and pantomimes which have raised in excess of £50.000 for charities. This is Paula’s first role with Mystical Productions, she will be playing the role of the Empress.
Geoff became involved in Am Dram at a very late stage in his life, thanks to his wonderful wife. He says he is now bitten and committed to the art of Pantomime. Geoff will be playing the wonderful and outrageous Widow Twankey, a role he had undertaken a few times before with other companies.

So here we are, the first two of our new cast for the summer pantomime Aladdin. Our first two actors are Anisah Hussain. Anisah studied Performing Arts at the City of Wolverhampton College. She has performed in plays and musicals her latest roles being Rosie in Mamma Mia and Sister Mary Lazarus in Sister Act. This is her first Pantomime and first show with Mystical Productions, she will be playing the role of Jasmine. Anisah tells us she is very excited to be performing alon...gside such a talented cast.
And Harriet Rosa Hommers. Harriet trained in Musical Theatre in Liverpool where she started as a dancer and came out as a singer and all-round actress. She has performed on cruise ships and UK tours, even performing with the boy band JLS. Harriet can be found singing at Chill Wine Bar in Tettenhall. Harriet says she is thrilled to be playing the lead role of Aladdin in her first production with Mystical Productions.

Looking for something to do during April? Why not pop along to Codsall Village Hall to see ‘The Vicar of Dibley’. Directed by our Managing Director. A very funny play, it is certainly not to be missed tickets on sale now!

So the first read through for the cast of Aladdin was this afternoon, everyone read brilliantly and the cast bonded well. We will be introducing the cast over the next few weeks look out for it.
