"It's true that musicals are not written, but rather rewritten, and this is a fantastic opportunity." - Sam Cassidy

User

Went and saw 27 on the preview night and it was amazing. I loved the singing, acting and dancing! Good mixture and humour and sadness! Great night.

User

We really enjoyed the show from start to finish and it was definitely well worth the trip to London! Outstanding performance by the whole cast and an amazing soundtrack which was beautifully complimented by the choreography and stunning voices. The cockpit theatre is lovely and cosy - at times we felt like part of the performance! Each and every cast member gave their all - well done to you all ☺️

User

Wasn't sure what to expect because my family went to support one of the cast and I had done no research. First of all, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Cockpit Gateforth St Marylebone, would take us back there again. Secondly, what an amazing show. Really enjoyed the whole time. I am no theatre critic but I was wowed by some good acting and singing which brought a poignant story to life. At £15 a ticket, a bargain! Would definitely see it again.

User

This was amazing! The intimate venue made me feel like part of the ensemble, sat so close I got Ryan Malloy sweat on me . The cast are amazing talented. Take the tissues and watch the magic. Some pretty good bod watching can be done to

User

The best musical I have ever seen and such a moving story. Please bring it to the westend.

User

Merging modern celebrity issues with Greek mythology allows this great new musical to explore and comment on the culture of fame, while entertaining with a truly fantastic score performed by an outstanding cast. Some outstanding songs but I was especially taken by the finale, which haunts and lingers long after you leave the theatre.

User

Loved it...really well done, fantastic cast and great music and lighting. Really strong storyline, all the cast are very talented, loved! Highly recommend. Look forward to seeing again in a bigger theatre 5*.

User

Loved it from start to finish... Especially the music, with live guitar.. Well cool.. Go and watch it.. !! Good to see the one and only LuLu in the crowd on Saturday night.. Full house standing ovation

User

I've seen this 3 times now, and each time, it gets better, and you see something new. It's a great musical, with an excellent cast, choreography, lighting, vocals and music, and I could watch it all again.... oh wait, I'm going again in a couple of weeks - you should catch it whilst you can. This cast is unmissable.

User

I went to press night to watch this show and was blown away. It was fabulous and the best show I have seen in a very long time . The cast are incredible !!!!!!! Huge well done to all involved and now booking to go again ......

User

I loved 27 so much that having travelled down to London from Manchester yesterday specifically to watch the matinée, I decided to stay for the evening performance too - which was just as sensational the second time!

The calibre of this genius production: the cast; the original story, music & lyrics; the voices, sound quality, the lighting, the choreography & the humour are breathtaking & spectacular - you can reach out & touch the emotion, especially at the end.

And after having read the programme cover-to-cover, it felt such a privilege to experience 27 at The Cockpit Theatre, & for just £15 a ticket!

User

I fell absolutely IN LOVE with this musical! One of the best thing I've ever heard! It really deserves a full production!

User

Fantasic, on the edge of your seat, emotinal, brilliant, amazing, great actors/dancers/singers etc, flawless, a must see show, can't wait for it to grow as far as the west end and beyond.... Well done Sam and all involved....

User

Best performance I've seen in a long time. The music was brilliant, the singing was on point, the choreography was fantastic, the lighting was exciting and the stage design was minimalistic yet worked perfectly. This is an amazing show that has everything. It makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you want to see more. Set in the perfect theatre too.. You really feel like you're on stage with the performers, feeling every stomp of the dancers and the cast actually look you in the eye. It really makes you feel a part of the production and draws you in further. 10/10. Loved the girl who played Amy. She'll be huge one day!

User

And absolutely phenomenal production every element was masterfully created- the lighting design, the choreography, the book!

Everything just worked and the presence of each and every character resonated with something inside each and every audience member! For such a tiny auditorium, the production as a whole had a large-scale feel to it!

This show deserves a west-end stage!! Love it- could watch it night after night!

User

Amazing show! Super talented cast, beautifully written and directed, great choreography and staging and I can't wait to see it again. Best original show I've seen in a long time. X

User

Absolutely fantastic. Would go again if I could. Had no idea what to expect but the talent was amazing, music and script just brilliant. Was having to hold back the tears at the end! Just loved it!! Go and see it if you can.

User

27 is an absolute must see. So well written and the casting was spot on. Saw the matinee and was honoured to watch the writer, Sam Cassidy play the lead. My kids and I immediately booked to stay and watch it again in the evening. We were buzzing about it all the way home. Definitely wished we lived closer. My advice-if you haven't seen it go before it ends! Xx

User

Go and see 27 at the cockpit while it still running. It tells the true story of what the music industry is truly like and has some of the best voices in theatre I have heard in ages . Arlene Phillips has truly got another hit of a show on her hands . Also the score was truly great and the script , the concept and the things as a whole , wow I had a lump in my throat by the end . I have truly seen nothing like this before

All the cast were great , everyone stood out. For a writer and composer as young as Sam cassidy to have created this is beyond amazing. Well done to Ryan Malloy,Ryan Gibb, Cassie Compton, Jack Donnelly , Lucy Martin, Maisey Bawden, Eloise Davies, Jodie Jacobs,Erin Bell, Kristian Cunningham,Colette Guitart, Jason Kajdi, Emily Kenwright, Alice Martin, Anthony Selwyn and a wonderful leading man in Greg Oliver who I truly think has an amazing voice and should be heard from more in theatre as well as all the rest of the cast. Everything has a price but a ticket to this show is worth it
