I have had a number of queries asking if we’re delivering, please note we’re only delivering to the elderly and vulnerable who cannot get out. My husband is working tirelessly in the shop and then doing these deliveries, this is all we can manage, he’s doing amazing, but is exhausted. COVID-19 Update.
We would like to let all our customers old and new, that we will be staying open, with restrictions. As it stands currently our opening hours will remain the same, however we will be reviewing this on a daily basis and this may change, we will keep you informed of any changes via our FB page.
In light of the crisis that has emerged at round us all, we understand that many of you rely Hockings Butchers for your daily/weekly supplies, so we will continue to ser...ve you as safely as is possible taking into account not only your safety but also the safety of our amazing staff, whom always go above and beyond their duties, we are incredibly lucky to have them. So will continue to serve you as safely as possible, please be understanding and as mindful for yourself and those around you. Thank you 🙏.
To reduce the number of people being in small proximity, we currently have limited customers into the shop 4 at a time, and have markings on the shop floor to keep safe distances. To help limit the number of people waiting we have decided to take telephone orders from you so we can get them ready for to collect. Also we are able to make a limited number of deliveries to help those locally who simply cannot get out i.e. the elderly and the vulnerable who cannot leave home, there will be a minimum spend of £10.
Finally we’d like to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic staff and our loyal customers, whom we class as much more than that, you’re friends, thank you for your support at this difficult time. Stay safe everyone, we will get through this, look after each other.
