Breakfast!? 🥑🥓🍳 😍

You will not be disappointed. Not sure whether people are aware but this place has been a community hub for years, from when the quintessential tongue-in-cheek/not tongue-in-cheek grumpy Scouse legend Ged used to have it. He's sadly not with us now, but in its place is an independent co-operative business that should become you new brekky gaff. If you haven't been, get right involved. All locally sourced, organic, lots of vegetarian and vegan options if that's for you. It's just boss.

Went to watch and listen to Chris Helme ( The Seahorses) , just loved the show , the venue and friendly staff , hope to return during the day to sample some food and coffee, keep doing what you are doing !

Staff always friendly, food always EXCELLENT! Especially the breakfast and I'd like to think we're connersuers of the brunch. For chill, yummy food it's a must visit!

My favourite place to hang out, either to do freelance work on my laptop, or to read a book with a coffee. There is a great community feel in the cafe, which isn't surprising as it's run by a cooperative, and they are very friendly and welcoming. The painted white bare brick, look with retro-chic antique lights gives the place a relaxed and chilled ambience and a light atmosphere, even on a cloudy day. As a tea drinker it's nice to be offered a range of loose leaf teas.

Lovely vegan breakfast complete with vegan black pudding which I’ve never eaten before....was very nice :)

Love this cafe! which was without doubt the main foundation brick in the cultural regeneration of this part of Smithdown road, which has gone from strength to strength over these last two years or so, with so much more to come, the staff there are absolutely amazing, who have mostly now become really good friends, the job Paul and co have done is nothing short of amazing, everything about the place is right, the atmosphere, the people, the food, some amazing music and art and cultural nights have occurred there over the last twelve months, too many to even name, I,ve met so many fantastic people through that cafe, it,s the type of place where you can pop in just to say hello for five minutes like last night and before you know it the place is alive with super interesting people, and before you realise it you,re on a bit of a night out with the amazing SophieEvo who works there, it,s that type of place, everyone to do with the place goes the extra mile, and it,s that attention to detail that makes it such a vibrant important place for our area, I wouldn,t say it,s an under-statement to actually say Naked Lunch saved this area, it,s been the catalyst from which everything else has sprung from, best breakfasts in the city too, they throw an half decent hot chocolate too, come six o clock it moves seamlessly from a cafe into a bistro/wine bar, it,s a yard!!!

Gorgeous tasty, fresh food. They are the kings and queens of comfort brunch food and great coffee. You sometimes wait a little while at weekends but that's because you know it's being freshly prepped not sitting in a tub waiting to be microwaved. The staff are friendly, the vibe is nice, when we say where shall we go for brunch, we always know it's a rhetorical question.

Boss cafe. Went for the first time today after hearing a few mates goin on about it. Got the brekky. Lovely. Everything on the plate was the nicest I've tasted. You get your beans in a little tiny cup too so when you pick it up you feel like a giant! It was chocker but we had our scran within 10 minutes and had eaten it in the next 5 cos it was that nice. Me mate got the veggie brekkie and yammed that, said it was the best he'd had. The staff are on it, the girl who was waiting on us cleared the empty plates within a minute or two and kept the drinks coming, didn't hassle us but was there when we wanted something. Then we just spent the next 10 or 15 minutes havin a gab, soaking up the atmosphere. Boss little community vibe in there. Go. You'll like it. I'll deffo be goin back. Possibly the best cafe in Liverpool!

The quality seems to have dropped in the content and the quality of the English breakfast. It had previously been my favourite venue for breakfast but I was disappointed this week that the eggs were overcooked and the sausage hard. Nice vibe , upmarket clientele and polite service.
