Namaste Nepal Description
Namaste Nepal was founded in 2005, as a restaurant that uses a perfect fusion of herbs and spices to create authentic Nepalese & Indian dishes at reasonable prices. The re-launch of Namaste Nepal in November 2011. A recent refurbishment has softened the interior of this classy establishment. The restrained red carpet, wooden tables and modern art produce an elegant, subtle effect, well suited to all diners.
Namaste Nepal is under new management. Mr Chandra Kumar KC has taken Namaste Nepal into a new generation of modern Nepalese dining, with over 25 years experience he ensures your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Chandra Kumar K. C has many years experience with Nepalese cuisine, Which only contains fresh herbs and Asian spices. This Nepalese cuisine has its delicate authentic flavours, which is extraordinary.
Once you have made yourself comfortable in our refurbished restaurant, make your selection from our mouth watering appetisers, main dishes and desserts. To ensure the freshness of your food and an even greater variety of choice, our foods are freshly prepared on a daily basis.
Why not try our Momacha’s for starters, minced lamb marinated in traditional Nepalese spices, which is then coated in a batter and steamed or Namaste Chewla which is pieces of meat prepared in the clay oven and marinated in traditional Nepalese spices with onions, green chillies, garlic and ginger (not for the faint hearted), or for vegetarians why not try our vegetable makhan which is vegetables in a tomatoes and creamy based sauce. Eat this alongside a wide range of specialties which has been prepared in our clay oven nan breads, paratha’s or oninon kulcha’.
Our menu has a variety of vegetarian dishes, fish dishes and authentic traditional curries, if you don’t see it on the menu ask and the chef will be prepared to make what you require.
All meals offer a variety of spices, garnishes , and glazes and are expertly prepared at Namaste Nepal West Didsbury. The platters are perfect for sharing, and our attentive staff are happy to help with recommendations from the menu.
The restaurant presents constantly developing menus and a carefully matched wine list, If you’re not a wine lover why not try our traditional Nepalese and Indian beers with your meal; at low prices the taste will give you the opportunity to try different authentic beers at reasonable prices.

This is the best Indian Restaurant in the North West. Great service, wonderful atmosphere and amazing food.I have eaten at Namaste many times and always had superb food.

Me and my wife go at least once a week. A few of the guys actually come to our wedding. We've taken numerous couples, friends & family members and everyone always loves the food and have told us they go back.
Strongly recommend Lamb Momocha (Momo's) & Lamb Chewala as starters.
Many main courses are exceptional. Lamb Botowan, Lamb Shah su ka, Chicken Kantipur Methi & any of the Shaslik!
Bottled King Cobra (750ml) is a must. Beware though... 7.5%
Value for money is exceptional!
Staff are very friendly and attentive. Get down there!

My no1 Indian restaurant. Nowhere on the curry mile compares to the standard of food that they serve in Namaste. I think I've had most of the curries on the menu. I especially love the crisp naan bread and the tandoori chicken Karahi cooked on the bone. Please try the momo! Nowhere else does them! The popadoms are lovely and the lime pickle is so smooth

Love this restaurant! We go for alot of family occasions, iv just booked to go again in December. Food is lovely, service is great and we love the atmosphere! Would definitely recommend to others.
Great lamb chops. Lamb chewla and chicken Khorsani? We're all fantastic..served with freshly cooked popadoms and naan. Great staff�
Great food, great service! I really enjoyed the Lamb Momocha and the Dry Fry Masala. The onion chutney with the poppadums was also great!

Very flavoursome and catering to customers. Interior is very eye catching and the management are extremely involved in service so be the best possible satisfaction is provided to the customers. Maybe a more explanatory menu that tempted me towards Nepalese food would get you 5*

Amusingly told a waiter that we picked the place based on good reviews, and he said ignore the internet reviews... but anyway!
Good portions, good taste, loved everything we picked (lamb was great in all the different things) and will be back for more. Go Nepalese with the menu, you won't be disappointed.

Service was the slowest I've ever seen.
Only two of us. Didn't seem that busy was was taking a lot of food out in deliverys. From sitting down took about 50 min to receive starter. After finishing it,had to ask where the main was another 50 min later. Very nearly got up and left, but stuck it out.
Main came out , no chips or nan, was told on it way.
Had to ask ten mins later ate most of main by the time they arrived. Not once through out the two and half hours, was we asked did we want anything.
To busy with telephone orders I think.
Worst service we've ever had and we have had a few.
Won't be going again . I've never felt the need to write a review before.
