I’m complaining about namco Norwich. We came to the bowling alley at around 7. To start, our lane wasn’t working at all as the balls got stuck and wouldn’t return. We had to ask numerous times to get it fixed, but most of the time the people behind the desk just stood and watched. We finally asked to move lanes and they reluctantly did it for us. By this time we had been there for 45 minutes and only had bowled 3 times on our first game out of 3. We started to play and continued on to our second game. We had two lanes as we had a group of 9 people and the second lane after we had moved, proceeded to stop working. We bowled a ball and the sweep came down meaning the ball had knocked it. The game screen automatically turned off, leaving us extremely confused. We were at this point extremely annoyed and decided, although we were only half way through our second game, we had had enough. We asked for a refund and questioned why the game had been switched off. A man, who may have been the manager, then told us that we had repeatedly hit the ball into the sweep (which we definitely hadn’t) and would not listen to anything we were saying to him, he was extremely rude and angered us even more. We each paid £7 for these three games and none of us got a refund. We left the alley at 9pm after only completing one game.
We will not be returning to Namco again.

Been coming since it opened as the solar bowl. Since it changed to namco it got alot better. But now things have changed again with the food what's happened it used to be pretty good for what it was burgers chips etc. Now the food comes in cardboard containers not on plates stupid plastic knives and forks. Why that's not very environmentally friendly now all goes in the bin rather than washed and reused the food is of lower quality and it shows chips which were proper chips are now manky french fries. The entertainment side is the same and good the food is terrible now which is a major let down.

Good fun for all the family. Has ten pin bowling, arcade machines, American pool, UK pool, table tennis, bar for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, hot food. Good pricing on bowling and good selection of ball weights.

User

Very helpful staff and a nice place to be.
A good fun enviroment just a shame that they were a bit understaffed and the pins on the lanes didn't always drop and count correctly.
Arcade is great fun though.
Seems like a great place for a family day in the rain.

Delivers as expected. Good offers. Great for families. I've also used for children's birthday parties.

User

Not a bad place to take the kids bawling. They also have arcades, a pool table, alcohol and an eating area. Free parking.

User

A nice place to go bowling valley well priced plenty of parking.

User

Went to a children's party here and it was handled very nicely. The person in charge of the party was very friendly and attentive and looked after everyone brilliantly.

Appalling service as was left not knowing what to do, not many staff and someone wasn't there if you needed help. Prices was way too high for what it's worth. Won't be coming back again.
