Get summer started!

This was my first visit to a Nando's restaurant.

The food is good, the price is fair, the service is great and being on a calorie controlled diet I didn't need to starve myself for the day just so that I could eat there.

The staff are really helpful. I took my 3 children (7, 3 and 1) for lunch yesterday and they offered to take our order and let me pay at the table so that I wouldn't have to take them to stand and que up. The food was perfect and arrived very quickly.

Once again I can not fault the food or the staff BUT I have to say I did have a panic attack when I went to the ladies as soon as I went into the cubical the light went out I panicked waved my arms about hoping the light would come on or did not I went into a panic as I tried to open the door I struggled to do it as it was pitch black the more I tried the more I panicked when I did get out i struggled to find my way to the main door by the time I reached it the light came on I don't think I have ever been more frightened in my life as I am petrified of the dark I just wanted to get out when I got back to the restaurant I told a member of staff she said she would report it it as it must have been the senses playing up I am not going to feel like using them again such a shame but it could have been a young child in their it was really scary

Love love love it, it's our family catch up place.. we all go n chat about how our weeks been. Staff are great n friendly, place is always busy.

Love Nandos and this branch - always friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere. And Nandos is great on Weight Watchers plan so will be back for sure. Not sure I like the changes in the menu as I can’t stand sun dried tomatoes in my pitta but at least I can customise my order and have it without!

I went to Nando's with my daughter for the first time arrived late 10pm and staff were lovely and didn't mind serving us all though kitchen was closing at 10.30, food was lovely, service was lovely, can't say nothing bad about this Nando's, will definitely go again.

Had a big group in at 9pm on Saturday night and the staff were excellent. We were all on different tables so we caused some confusion but the staff handled it brilliantly. The staff member Charlotte in particular was excellent and everyone had great food and a good time. Thanks guys.

Great food , good atmosphere and of course excellent service from Summer thank you xx

First time to the one in Braintree, very friendly staff, great food and we will be back xxx

Fantastic service, great food and very welcoming. Buzzing atmosphere with spice to suit all, recommend the mango and lime chicken platter meal for two - can't go wrong �

Dear Nando's Braintree. You have restored my faith in Nando goodness within Essex. I've been disappointed one too many times with another Nando restaurant in Essex, and I lost faith. However, the delicious chicken served to me tonight was spot on. Thank you :D

Nando’s is what Nando’s does......... Chicken mostly. If you don’t like chicken it’s probably not the place for you.....

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We found the kids vegi meal a bit peppery for my 2 year old and without hesitation they replaced it with anything we needed without charge. Had a really good meal.

The food was OK. I have never had a Nando's and won't be rushing back, as the dining experience is not my style. I don't like people queuing past my table to order food and then onto the condiments section etc. Food should be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere, this was all just a bit too noisy and rushed.

It's chicken....expensive chicken...it was ok but nothing special. It was our first time in nandos and probably the last for some time. You can get the same chicken and more flavours in a harvester and with the harvester you get free unlimited salad. It was not good but also not terrible but definately didn't live up to expectations considering so many people rave about it. I can only conclude that they have had their taste buds removed

Food was excellent as was the speed of the service and staff were friendly, my major pain with my experience was I finished my meal, my wife was still eating and they came and cleared my plate away so it looked as though she was eating on her own with me watching, please wait till everyone has finished!

Had to wait for a table, which was about 10 mins, but got put Wright in front of the door and as it was very busy , we had people hang over us as we were eating some even knocking us and were freezing cold with the door being held open by the que . Food was nice 👍 but was out of by the above .

Staff ok, but this is the second time in a Nando's they have 'lost' the order! Happened in the chelmsford branch too? Had to wait whilst several tables seated after us got there meals before us. Had to bring it to staffs attention we hadn't had our food yet.

Would just like to highlight a serious problem with your kitchen staff in the Braintree Nando's. I am allergic to eggs. Therefore ordered my bean burger meal without Mayonnaise ( which I must point out that isn't even listed as being included within the ingredients..)

First meal arrived with mayonnaise. Sent this back as mistakes happen so please can I have one as ordered without. 4 minutes later a 'new meal' is brought over. New pitta new salad - same burger with some of the mayo wiped off.

Luckily I checked as could have made me very ill. Sent this meal back and explained that if a customer has an allergy you just can't wipe off the allergen!

Manager brought over the 3rd attempt after 20 minutes of food first being delivered and explained they had new staff who didn't understand.....by this time my partner had finished his meal. So I was left with a cold side ( this wasn't replaced) and a partial refund for the cost of the burger.

Really DISAPPOINTED Nando's - allergies are serious and your staff need adequate training. We now have no trust in eating at your restaurants. Your training needs to be revised.
