We took our daughter out for a meal for her 6th birthday. The waitress at our table was lovely and make a big fuss of both our daughters. When she found out it was my daughter's birthday she brought out her desert with a candle and everyone sung happy birthday which was a really nice gesture. I'm sorry I didn't get her name as she wasn't wearing a name badge, but this was Monday night around 5pm so please pass on my thanks.

This was our first experience at Nando's and we all thought the staff were great, extremely helpful. Our son (11yrs old) had his first date so we needed two tables close but not too close together to allow them privacy yet still be watched. Would reccommed

The staff in Nandos Colchester were wonderful! I phoned to book a table to surprise a friend on her birthday. Explained she had some health problems and need an uplifting celebration. The food was great as always and it was served promptly. The Manager Andrea Blue, was great, super attentive and helpful. To our surprise after our dinner we were pleasantly surprised with a slice of cake with a candle, brought in by the manager!!!. A wonderful random act of kindness. Thank you Andrea for making my friends birthday celebration a lovely one. X Nandos we love your chicken �xx

Ordered my wife the plan butterfly burger and it came with mayo which we did not realise it would with the plan. We said and they changed the Hole plate and got new everything. which personal I think is well done them most places would have just replaced the chicken.

Love the new supergrain salad side � food always fast a good ... great place for a quick bite ... healthy or not

Kyla meadows and I came yesterday. We were Nando virgins and hugely pleasantly surprised. The lady on floor was so lovely was so warm and I said thankyou and she hugged me which just shows how lovely they are. We felt comfortable. We felt the only ones there yet it was busy. Went to the toilet and smelt lovely and was clean. I'm a huge stickler for a toilet. If a place takes pride in a toilet you can bet your bottom dollar that the kitchen is clean. Thankyou so much. Couldn't pick on anything was all lovely thankyou xxx

I popped in yesterday with my two children (2yr old and 1yr old) which can make lunch out pretty stressful but the waiting staff where amazing they where so friendly to the children didn't make us feel a pain when they made a bit of mess and helped with my buggy they made us feel so welcome it's defiantly the most kiddie friendly place we've been, our food came out very quickly and we all enjoyed it I think the male waiter was Aaron and I can't remember the female waitresses name but they really where lovely so thank you!!

Brilliant service from Aran and Nikolette and friendly staff all round! Seemed to be very understaffed for how busy it was though? Might help to employ to increase that level of service

You need to order more chicken livers it was late on Saturday afternoon and you didn't have any surely if it is a big seller you would up the order on them was very disappointed as haven't been to Nando's in a wile and was really looking forward to having them or so it's not the first time this has happened but apart from that the meal was lovely and all the staff are very happy and friendly ���

Four of us went into Nandos for a meal before going to the Mercury, two of us had been to Nandos before, so we guided the other two through the choices. All four enjoyed the meals and the only complaint was that one of the two tables we were seated at was very wobbly.

Air con was to cold and very noisy but food was nice

Was quite disappointed tbh .... 40 minutes for food to come out, paid for something I didn't want and ended up having, friend asked for some mayo as they didn't have any bottles that took 15 minutes as waitress was reminded, sunset burger could be bigger too... like looks and tastes great but damn was it not filling at all .... gutted normally love a cheeky Nando's :(

Usually love Nando's, the food,the staff lovely. Unfortunately I ordered a take away Nando's and half my order was missing � I was missing my halloumi, my garlic bread and my chips ... and my super grain didn't have any avocado sauce. Sadly I live in the outskirts of Colchester so going all the way back was just not worth it. Sorry Nando's Colchester... very disappointed.

I go to Colchester nandos all the time with no issues but last night was awful. No clean cutlery in any location, i had to ask twice for knife and fork then when food arrived i was still waiting for forks. Had to ask twice to get fanta drink turned back on because it ran out. Staff wandering around and chatting while theres food to go out and im stood there waiting to place a order for ages while they chat instead of getting orders done. Just felt like the staff couldent be assed last night. Food was great but was a little annoyed with service.

What an awful place. The food was pre-cooked not fresh, the main course came out virtually at the same time as the starters. I was promised chicken with crispy skin coated in a sauce that allegedly " is like tackling a ferociously fiery dragon"; more like dry chicken with soggy skin in a slightly warm in seasoned gruel.

There was an hour and a half wait for what I wonted to order so I had to change it,our starter and main meal came out at the same time. So we where in and out in 35 mins

All in all if you wont fast food Nando’s is the place to go if you wont to go out for a meal I’d stay clear from Nando’s if I where you ....

Nando's is one of my favourite places to dine. We are regular customers and usually attend at least once a week. On Saturday the 11th February me and my fiancé went here around 9:00pm. We went to order our meal and so I walked to the counter to which a lady from behind the till walked off and went somewhere. I was left waiting around 5 minutes for someone to come to the till to serve me even though members of staff could see I was waiting to be served. The Kitchen staff did see me waiting and had to shout for someone to come however this was not a good start. I then ordered our meals, once someone arrived, which were both double chicken pita's, this was messed up and we both received wraps instead. We didn't raise this as the restaurant was busy so we thought we'd give the wraps a go. We usually ask for mayo once we've received our meals, so as normal we asked when the lady brought over our meals. We waited around 10 minutes and by this point we had still not received our mayo and continued to watch the lady serve other tables and attend to other diners. We thought she must have forgot and so asked another lady. Yet again a further 5 minutes had commenced and still no mayo. Once again we watched as she served other tables and attended to other diners. To our disappointment we asked another member of staff. We asked a young man if he would bring us some mayo. He then went and seated some new customers and after around 5 further minutes we received our mayo by which point our food had gone cold. Once again we could see that it was busy and so didn't raise this with a staff member, however it should not have taken 3 members of staff and over 20 minutes to receive some Mayo. We continued to eat our meal which we didn't enjoy as much as usual due to the fact it was cold. Towards the end of our meal I noticed that my chicken was pink inside. This I had to raise with a member of staff to which we were told it was a burst blood vessel and would be fine. Regardless this put me off my meal and I was unable to finish. We were offered another wrap to take away which we did accept however did not eat this. This did not change the fact that my experience at Nandos was ruined I have been a loyal customer and always enjoy going to Nandos however, I feel that we have been greatly let down by the service and quality provided that night. This was unacceptable and I don't think going by what I witnessed on Saturday that I will be returning. Which is a great shame.

Where do I start. Knock the place down and start again. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Not nice, didn't like it at all. If you want very bad value for money then give it a try.

I wasn't happy when I came in on Thursday and had my usual of butterfly chicken and my chicken was bone dry and cold when I received it, it put me off all of my food and I left all of it apart from a couple of chips which I ate, my partners chicken was semi cold and left all of his I was utterly appalled and waited 45 minutes to receive my food I will not be eating at this particular restaurant again
