We have been having a date night at the Narrowboat when we have had our monthly Skipton Sea Anglers meeting. The steak and ale pie with Handmade chips is to die for. Really friendly staff, free wi fi and lovely surroundings. Divine company (hubby) What more could you ask for??

User

Very nice pub good beer the staff are very polite and helpful. Me and the late wife call in every time we're in skipton. It's first in 4 years since. It brought back some lovely memories it was her favourite pub. I was in yesterday with my sister Sharon she loved her first visit.

User

The beer is great, bar staff are lovely, food looked nice although we didn't eat there, but would like to try it sometime. It's also spotlessly clean including the toilets, where they have baskets of complimentary tampons in each ladies' cubicle - such a nice touch! Other pubs should take note of this well run place.

User

Quirky little pub next to the canal food was excellent as was the service. My husband had the steak and ale pie the best he's ever had and the beer battered fish was to die for. I would highly recommend a visit to this pub.

User

Popped in here for a meal on a Saturday evening

A woman walked out as we went in, complaining that the place was too quiet.

I don't know who she was but we are glad she did

The food was fantastic. Home cooked and obviously done with care and attention

The range of beers and service from the staff were second to none

We would definitely eat here again

User

Lovely beer great service.

User

Hubby and I had a meal in here today at dinner time,Chicken wrapped in bacon, stuffed with black pudding on mash, with a peppercorn sauce.Delicious.

User

Great service and great food. Good knowledge of the craft beer they sell. Would recommend a visit.

User

Great pub, fabulous food and great service, to top it all, they made our dog Leo very welcome. We shall return

User

Great experience for a first timer. Would love to hire one for 3 days. Wish I had brought my little dog now. Next time. We will be back soon.

User

Friendly staff and great food.

Loved the pie n peas,

The Moroccan hummus and flat bread was fantastic

The pulled pork was really nice, as we're the little haggis nuggets.

Really enjoyed our visit.

User

Called on sat. Lovely dog friendly pub great staff and hood drinks .had raspberry beer very nice. Food looked great too

User

Beautifully tended quirky pub. No cheap mass produced rubbish here. Quality beers and spirits served by friendly staff and worth the little extra that you pay for attention to detail. Will definitely be visiting again before my current visit to Skipton is over!

User

Always a good meal, beers spot on it's just unfortunate i always seem to be driving

Staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble, dog friendly as well

User

Vegans eat here! It's imaginative and tasty and portions are the right size. The service is good and the venue is pleasant. Only fault is no soya/nut milk for coffee.

User

Didn't eat this time but have before food looked really nice beer was good with a reasonable selection no cranberry though for the wife.there is a outside area but in the shade but plenty of room inside and out. Nothing for kids so no little ones running about

User

Great beer just a shame you had run out of beef burgers and steak pies so I had to have my third choice of dinner, however it was very nice.

User

The place itself is fine. It's an interesting place to eat especially if you like dogs. Most eating places do not allow dogs in but this one does. Not good in an food serving place.

The staff were fine but we had to wait 45 minutes for the food. I had the venison sausages and they were awful. Burnt and tasted like dry cardboard. I won't be going again.

User

The beers are fine but it’s really annoying when every time you go in they can’t accommodate food orders. Why not employ more staff to satisfy hungry customers?
