Natasha’S Little Learners Childminding Service

Over the next week your child will be bringing home a copy of their next steps of learning, on these there will be strategies that will help support their learning at home as well as in the setting, I know some parents already have a copy of theirs, if you have any questions regarding these please do not hesitate to contact me, also feel free to ask to have a look at your child’s development progress file at any time. Some of the activities and fun the children have enjoyed this week so far.....

These school holidays are going super fast.....but here are some of the fun activities we have enjoyed this week 😀

The weather hasn’t stopped us having fun today, we have had great fun baking and decorating biscuits, making our own pizzas for lunch that was very yummy, we have been creating stain glass window pictures....how fab do these look. This afternoon we have been learning how we can change the water a different colour.....the children said this ‘was like magic’

Today we enjoyed a morning at the magical castle, #holidayfun😀

Some of the fun we have had exploring and learning through some great activities during this summer holidays. 😀

Busy morning at captains cove, the children enjoyed exploring the soft play area, developing there physical skills by going up and down the steps and climbing through tunnels and climbing on and off the soft play equipment 😀

It’s been a Friday fun day at Natasha’s little learners the children selected what outdoor toys they wanted out and chose the water and ball pool, one child wanted orange water, we have been developing our physical development by using the climbing equipment and balancing beams, this afternoon we took a visit to Queensway children’s centre family hub, we really enjoyed the sensory toys. 😀

Continuing our learning about food and nutrition, today the children have enjoyed collecting the apples that have grown from the tree, some of the children took some home to make an apple pie 😀

Continuing with what we have been learning and talking about.....food and nutrition, the children led this activity this morning by saying they wanted to paint pictures of fruit, what fantastic pictures they are 🍌 🍎 🍓

We have been learning about food and nutrition, the children have had the opportunity to take part in various activities such as baking and talking about the ingredients they have used, visiting the supermarket to buy fresh fruit, and sampling these fruits at snack time, we spoke as a group about healthy and unhealthy foods.

It looks like it’s going to be another hot week ahead ☀️ can I just remind parents to provide your children with sun cream and a hat. Also I’ve had a few parents ask about ordering more polo tops, if you would like to order more of these please message me 😀.

It’s come to the end of term we have had lots of fun, the children have had lots of great learning opportunities, visiting local children’s centres, walks to parks, sensory and creative activities, as well as physical and group activities. It’s now the summer holidays if anyone needs to book any care over the next 6 weeks please message the page, places are limited 😀

Natasha used to look after my little boy at a nursery and he loved going to her xx
