Little Dusty came into the care of our Cornwall centre underweight and under loved. Thankfully after a few months of TLC, she's put weight on and her fur has started to grow back! Help us support cats like Dusty and give what you can today: http://bit.ly/2CeA8L9

Older girl Maisie is looking for a quiet home to enjoy near our Clacton centre. She's a lovely girl who can be shy to start with, but once she has gained your trust, she will be straight over to you for lap cuddles! Find out more: bit.ly/2CUIbNB

Yoshi at our Cornwall centre is a cheeky lad with bags of character and lots of love to give. Although he can be shy at first, he soon comes around and he loves to please. He could live with other pets, but will need a home without children: http://bit.ly/2Rxo14a

It's weigh day for the bunnies at HULA Animal Rescue! 😅 Thankfully they're not feeling too heavy after their fill of veggie treats.

Happy Sunday from blue-eyed Tilly! She's a sweet girl currently at our #Cornwall centre looking for a special home. Typically of a husky cross she can be nervous and needy so would need a new owner who understands this: http://bit.ly/2s4iZ0I

Gentle boy Thomas enjoys a calm fuss and a comfy lap. Being an older gentleman he would appreciate a calmer home with older children and possibly a calm dog. He's a sweet lad who would make an affectionate companion: http://bit.ly/2F3eBHZ

Good morning! 😍

George was found unloved and abandoned. After remaining unclaimed in the stray pound, he travelled to safety at our Clacton centre. Despite everything, George is one of the happiest, friendliest little dogs! 🐶❤️ After TLC and vet treatment, George is ready to leave our care and go home with his very own family 🐾

How adorable is Dusty? She had a hard time before coming to our Cornwall centre, but thankfully she's reserved and should be going home soon! 😁

Good afternoon from picture perfect Mulan 😻 She's looking for a home to join with her sister Elsa! Currently in Bedfordshire, this beautiful pair would love to be the latest addition to an otherwise pet free family: http://bit.ly/2BMZgXN

When we enquired about adopting a cat, Shakara responded promptly and suggested two possible cats that might be suitable. We were given advice about cat behaviour and enrichment and the staff were helpful and supportive throughout the process.

What's the best thing I've done to find a new pet, I adopted an older dog from Trindledown, Berkshire. I now have my 2nd from there, the 1st was a 9yr old cocker with pancreatitis, I had her for 3yrs, I now have a 15yr old Staffie called Buster who is still very active. We have been back to say hello to everyone and will be going again this Sunday.

What a great rescue center. If you need a new for legged companion, this is the place to go. People there are just incredible! There is no better dog than a rescued one xx

User

We have just adopted Izzy from Watford. She is settling in and we are enjoying having a dog again. She has the most fantastic temperament and has so much love to give. I would urge anyone to consider a rescue dog as it's so rewarding. The NAWT have helped us so much and the team do such amazing work thank you from us and Izzy

We adopted Missy from Wheal Alfred, Hayle five weeks ago. Missy has settled in very well and we are absolutely delighted with her.

User

We adopted Lenny from the Somerset centre last year and he's just been the best addition to the family. We all love him to pieces!

The care taken by the centre throughout the adoption process is brilliant!

User

The care and education the staff put in to looking after these animals is amazing and truly inspiring.

User

Thanks to you all I found Brac there in 2000 with Stan the only person she liked. Having had 14 amazing years with her , the hard decision yesterday to let her go was one of hardest and heart wrenching. She is now with her brother Mr Fish whom I lost November last year and rescued from you at the same time. They filled my life with so much joy. Thank you always

User

So many beautiful, well cared for animals that desperately need a good home!!! I work here with one of my students and we love it. The staff really love what they do and care so much about the animals

Since adopting our bunnies we regularly check back on the status of our favourite dogs. After spending many weeks talking to them they feel like old friends. I whooped with joy when I see that Alan was reserved. I hope Alan gets his forever home. he deserves lots of lovely cuddles, that is all he wanted when we visited. Good luck Alan xxx (Hertfordshire)

It's been 4 months since we picked up our Staffie Coco and her true character and personality are shining through. She is a now playful, cheeky, incredibly affectionate and a little bit mischievous. My Coco-nut is a complete crackpot and is the perfect addition to our family of nutters I can not thank NAWT staff enough for introducing us to her. All the staff we met were fabulous and clearly care deeply for every animal they look after. After care help and guidance to me as a newbie owner was brilliant x

I visited your Watford branch with some donated items on 3rd.

I have to say what a great bunch of people there so friendly & the lady in change was just lovely.

The place was spotless. All dog kennels were clean, & all the dogs had toys to play with.

I love the new idea where you can ask the dogs to sit & give them a treat.

You can see the work that is being put into the dogs for them to go on & have happy forever homes.

I adopted my one eyed cat Winky from the NAWT in October 2008. She is the first cat I've ever owned and we adore her! The NAWT were very thorough, ensuring that we were worthy of receiving Woo (as we call her) . She was even famous, when she appeared in Take a Break magazine a few years back. We love her and highly recommend your establishment. Thank you

User

Helped us find our dog Bryn must be 17-18 yrs ago now and he's still going! Had relatives get their dog from them too. Great place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pet!

First experience at the NAWT open day on the 1st May and was very impressed. All the animals appeared to be well looked after housed in large cages. It was also lovely to see that a lot of the animals were reserved. The whole day was great fun especially with our Airedale, Niamh winning 'best girl' ! Lots of great stalls and plenty to keep two legged and four legged animals entertained ......

User

Fantastic place. Staff at Watford really care for the animals with lots of love. Give great advice and support. Animals were well kept. We adopted guinea pigs Simon Craig and now Oscar. We really enjoy going there and especially loved the recent Halloween event to raise funds. Witches house was amazing. Keep up the fantastic work you do guys.

User

Excellent service. I adopted St Miguel del Santa Pola (formally known as Vader) from Watford 4 1/2 years ago. Lovely boy but had a few issues at the beginning and was well supported by NAWT. Got over the issues within a week with the help, advice and support and have got the most loving gorgeous cat out of it! Thank you!!! X

User

Brilliant centre! Our experience there couldn't have been better.

I got my first pets from here. Two Gorgeous kittens brother and sister- Grimsby and Melody. Unfortunately Melody died of Leukaemia at one year of age, they were so kind and caring when we told them.

We then adopted a new 10 month (ish) old cat after a couple of months called Misha. She had only just been rescued so she wasn't up for re-homing at the time but the staff were kind enough to let us see the cats that weren't on show. We fell in love with her straight away, she was so afraid and scared of absolutely everything when we first got her but now she is full of confidence and has even turned in to a lovely cat

and loves the attention from people.

They take great care of all the animals there and the staff are brilliant and lovely.

An amazing place we’ve always had rescue dogs. We took Paddy the staff with us back in 2010 and he has been the best dog we’ve ever had. Staffs are really made out to be something they are not and painted in such bad lights, but they are truly loving dogs. Please these dogs need a caring home they really are affectionate and just want to be loved back. Just give them a chance
