National Crime Agency (Nca)

About National Crime Agency (Nca)

The National Crime Agency protects the public from serious and organised crime. Organised crime and cyber crime are some of the greatest threats to our national security. At present, there are over 5, 500 organised crime groups impacting on the UK, comprising around 37, 000 individuals. Serious and organised crime blights communities, ruins lives and costs the UK well over £20 billion each year. Our job is to disrupt and bring to justice those serious and organised criminals who present the highest risk to the UK. We have national and international reach and the mandate and powers to work in partnership with other law enforcement organisations to bring the full weight of the law to bear in cutting serious and organised crime. The NCA became operational in October 2013. Follow us on: - Twitter (https://twitter.com/NCA_UK)- Facebook (https://www. facebook.com/NCA)
