It's so easy to look at food as a reward, but over the years things have really escalated to the point of being ridiculous.
Take this news report from the BBC:
"For example, the Toby Carvery Unicorn Freakshake came top of an Action on Sugar survey. Their shake contains 39 sugar cubes, that's 1,280 calories."
... I know quite a few adults that would consider this a treat, let alone letting children eat it! If they realised it contains the calories equal to the entire daily amount for an average adult woman, they'd think twice!

This is what I eat. I've been on holiday for the last week and I have never eaten so well. The salads I've had every day have been amazing. I've not had any meat, fish or processed food at all.
I fast until 1pm each day. Have you considered this at all?

I also go for smoothies, my juicer is still in the corner of the kitchen just in case I decide to do a juice fast one day.
Chose some of the local varieties which are available in our supermarkets and local farmers markets now. Guaranteed not to have been in cold storage for the last year!

The cocktail of drugs my mum takes makes her so ill and tired all the time. A lot the problem is that one drug interacts with another in a negative way, something that is not considered when prescribing them.

The news yesterday is that the probiotic drinks that are so popular are useless is welcome as this has been the belief of nutrition experts for many years. It doesnβt mean that good quality supplementation of probiotics is useless.

Loved watching this. Making goals that inspire you the message, what do you really want to do? You can think of this for your nutritional goals, what difference will it make if you managed to change your diet, how would you feel, what would you be able to do if you feel better, lose that weight? Make a new goal for each day, however small towards your long term goal.
There are so many studies which evidence this chemical is so dangerous.
Sardines are a fabulous source of calcium, mixed with balsamic vinegar they are delicious.
I was particularly drawn to this part of this article giving the ingredients of the Cherry Bakewell Tart. There is no nutrient value at all in this and it will just force your body to go into overdrive trying to break down chemicals that it does not recognise.

I went to Tracy for an intolerance test... Tracy was very welcoming and the room at the Natural Fitness Centre in Eastbourne was lovely! The test took about 5-10 mins and straight away told me what foods I should avoid. Unfortunately one of the foods was something I love, but I can't wait to eliminate the food to see if it helps. Would highly recommend getting an intolerance test with Tracy!
I have been on this course for four weeks and i have lost about half a stone so far and i feel so much better already. I can highly recommend this course.
I am currently taking part in a detox with a twist and Tracy's bio-resonance screening - a method of revealing potential food sensitivities at time of testing - seemed like the perfect place to start. The detox, which is based on the 'Whole Detox' by Dr Deanna Minnich, has been organised locally by Tracy's colleague at Lushington Chiropractic, Nutritional Therapist Michaela Jezzard and thanks to the introductory talk for this, I met Tracy and was subsequently able to benefit from a consultation with her.
Tracy's professional approach and kind manner instantly made me feel at ease discussing health and food-related issues. I am now more aware of potential food groups that I didn't realise I needed to avoid or at least while taking part in this detox journey! As for some of the groups that came up which were not a surprise for me (eg wheat and dairy) I felt that this was proof enough that the machine worked!
