Natwest Bank (Permanently Closed)

The building in which the Bank is situated is right on the corner of the most important crossroads in the town. It is an example of what was considered 'modern' and forward looking in, one supposes, the latter half of the last century, ie it is utilitarian and ugly in the extreme.

A construction in this position especially ought to have been at least respectful to the period buildings which it mostly neighbours. Instead of good manners however it thumbs its nose at decent good taste.
