Firstly apologies for any noise caused on Saturday 10th of March, we were having some important work done inside and ouside of the shop that had been scheduled for last Sat, but due to the workmen being snowed in where they live it had to be cancelled, so hence it was done yesterday and it was only confirmed Friday night. And secondley, we are having the gutters replaced on the flat above our shop on Monday 12th of March (weather permitting), so please be aware of the ladders outside the shop. Regards Peter & Lesley.

Just found out that the post by Indefatigable65's used someones pic to give a review on the Plough, Im begining to think that this person or persons are up to no good as the pic is of a respectable family and know nothing of the review on our chippy. I bet your bottom dollar this is connected to " YOU KNOW WHO" R W. The Family are fuming to say the least

As most of our customers know we have been trading successfully for over 30yrs at Naze Lane Chippy and did a previous 11years in London so in total we have been in the trade 41+ yrs , we never proffess to be perfect but we always do our very best for our customers. There have been 2 recent horrible reviews on tripadvisor, one of which is by Ross W (we can all guess the surname) and another by someone indentifying themselves as " Indefatigable65", if this person would like to ...come and see us then we will be happy to refund him. We refresh our 100% vegetable fat every day, make fresh batter every day, peel fresh potatoes every day, and cook to order what ever the customer requests. Our staff are always clean tidy, respectful, friendly and amenable. We take great pride in what we do and have done. We have always had the policy "if we displease you" , then we will offer an alternative or a refund. If you would like to respond to this , we would be obliged to you. Many thanks Peter & Lesley

Tonight is the last session of 2017, wow this year has gone so quickly. Saying that we cant believe weve owned the Chippy for 30 Brilliant years and have watched quite a few generations grow and have their own children..... how time flies|. Temporary Freckers in July (cat sitting for friends) chose to frequent Naze Lane Chippy x2. Should tell you everything 'cos we went back!! Excellent Fish n Chips and mushy peas!! Great food and we would recommend anyone to go there. Wonderful !!

I have been getting our Chippy Tea from Naze Lane for over 13 years!!! So welcoming, great people! Food is great, people are brilliant, prices are very reasonable. They are also very community spirited! Always support causes when they can! Won't be buying anywhere else xxx � xxx
