Neal'S Yard Remedies Hereford

So today was our lovely Abi’s last day working in the shop. She joined on day one and, over 6 years later she’s decided its now time to focus on her therapies. We’ve been through so much together - so much has changed in those 6 years! Abi has been a strong team player for our store, caring for customers and other members of the team and had risen to the challenge of being Assistant Manager, taking care of all sorts of difficult aspects of the running shop with skill and professionalism while I took time off. Thankfully she’s not leaving us completely and will still be showing her smiley face from our therapy rooms where she works 4 days a week. So here’s to you Abigail, thank you for all your hard work and all the best for the future 💗🥂🍾

We are looking for newly qualified therapists to join our Sunday Graduate Clinic at Neal's Yard Remedies.
The concept is that the newly qualified therapist gets a chance to work from our beautiful therapy rooms, building up their client base, their confidence and their experience. We charge a reduced room rent to the graduate and cap how much the therapist charges the client. As a result our Sunday clients get cheaper therapies on Sundays by fully but newly qualified therapi...sts.

Day 25 of #myshoplife2018 is Boomerang! I’ve been applying lots of this, our organic Hypericum & Calendula Cream, to my poor grazed knee. Day 10 of #myshoplife2018 is Why I chose to open a store. Well there are lots of reasons!
I wanted to live in #Herefordshire, because I believe it to be the most beautiful county in the UK (if you haven’t been, I employee you to visit, the countryside is stunning). I hoped for a franchise of #nealsyardremedies because they are the most ethical company I have ever come across, going the extra mile for the environment (#carbonneutral #noanimaltesting #soilassociationorganic to... name a few of their credtials). The store is also the setting for two therapy rooms, where we have self employed therapists doing everything from #massage to #reflexology and I have a BSc(Hons) degree in TCM Acupuncture as well and as years of retail management experience so it was the perfect fit.
It was just over 6 years ago that I decided to take the plunge, took out a monstrous bank loan and started with the blood sweat and tears that comes with having your own business. Of course it is totally worth it and I am a VERY happy and proud shopkeeper! Oh more beautiful snow! Whilst it means we can make more snow people and have more fun in the snow it does mean that we’re going to have to CLOSE TODAY as none of our staff can make it in. We are so sorry to disappoint anyone, especially if you have a treatment booked. X

So my last post was too bold and the snow has won. We are now closed this afternoon and will be closed tomorrow too! Sorry to be flakey ❄️ and disappoint. To make up for it on the therapy side, our therapists will be doing some extra hours next week so please rebook x

Really lovely manicure from Asako yesterday - my nails are the best they've been for a long time - great shape and my skin is soft. Much more relaxing than the normal manicure when half the time is spent having them painted which just chips the next day!!! Definitely on my list of essential treats!!

Love it here! Friendly and helpful staff plus the fantastic Asako who does the most relaxing stone massage ever! Definitely worth a visit.

Just had a pregnancy massage here and I feel fantastic. Appreciated the attention to my hips and leg area as it's been causing me pain. Will defiantly be coming back for more! Thanks xxx

I went shopping at Neal's Yard in Hereford just before Christmas following a recommendation from somebody I went to school with. A friend suffers from infections and I sought their advice, they recommended a herbal tea. This appears to be working for her. I also had some tea for a detox, and I feel much better. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
