We’ve been a bit quiet as we’ve been juggling looking after our 4 year old and still working from home. We’re slowly getting there with the ‘new normal’. With more and more people self-isolating, we're all learning to adjust! We're now taking turns working and looking after our daughter, which is a blast from the past - it's how we worked when Needy Cat first started (and we had a *lot* less work on the go).
So here's a question. Last year we had a go at running our game design courses online. We had a small response, but I'm wondering if it would be a bit more popular now that people are looking for things to do from home?
...So, if we were to relaunch the series, would you be interested in taking part? Each one would be a live seminar run by one of us, and you'd be able to ask questions throughout. You'd also get digital copies of the course materials, and access to a video of the session. It'd probably be in the £20-£30 price range for a 2 hour seminar.
We'd look at covering a range of topics including our design process, how to get a game idea off the ground, writing effective rules, prototyping methods, working with freelancers, and so on.

So anyone who's seen the Robot Fight Club Kickstarter campaign over the last couple of days will know that it's pretty much stalled. After a lot of deep thought (and no small amount of data gathering), we've decided to cancel the campaign for now, and relaunch it in the near future.
