Our December specials start from Monday 3rd. We have plenty to warm you including our gingerbread and cinnamon lattes, rich fruit cake and homemade mince pies...why not try them hot with brandy butter 😋🎄

It’s homemade cheese and onion pie day tomorrow £3.80 with baked beans. Friday we have pulled pork and coleslaw muffins £3.80.

It’s a miserable cold day so we have a good old comfort food on today. Our specials are cheese and bean toasties or sausage, onion and cheese muffins.
Our cake of the day is about to go in the oven, Red velvet 😋 and our soup today is spiced butternut squash.

We’re kick starting our Friday Christmas specials today with Christmas Nachos... a delicious accident we invented with left overs a few years ago that has become a family favourite. Turkey in a sage sauce with stuffing and cranberry served on hot nachos with melted cheese 😋
We also have plenty of cake to tempt you today so hope to see you later 👋
PS...coffee machine is still sulking so no lattes or cappuccinos today but we have normal white/black coffee and plenty of teas to choose from.

If you’re out and about feeling the cold we have a warming homemade ham broth bubbling away today, £2.50 for a large £2.00 for a small. Both come with buttered bread of your choice.

It’s Tea day at nelly’s ☕️ we have Earl Grey, Assam, PG, Camomile, Green Tea, Peppermint and red berry amping our selection...the coffee machine didn’t respond to the on off trick 😞
We are on the case and hopefully 🤞 get coffee flowing as soon as possible.

There’s good news and bad news today... the good news is it’s Grandpa Noone’s meat and potato pie day 🥩 🥔 🥧 £3.80 with mushy peas and red cabbage.
The bad news is the coffee machine is having a major wobble and the only guy who can fix it is on a beach in Barbados 😪 I’m going to use the age old IT remedy and turn it off and on again so fingers crossed...

We’ve taken inspiration from Sunday Brunch for tomorrow’s special, chunky cheese and sweet onion chutney toasties made with a lovely cheddar cheese and farmhouse bloomer bread, £2.50, we also have a creamy spiced parsnip soup and all our usual hot and cold sandwiches and cakes. Top quality sandwich fillings, excellent coffee (from a self-confessed coffee snob!), full breakfast or breakfast rolls and fabulous selection of home-made cakes, brownies and cup cakes. There is nothing not to like. Very reasonable prices. I literally can't pass without going in and usually bring a "cake away" or two.

My husband called in for breakfast and said it was the best bacon, sausage and egg butty he’s had in a long time!
