The new building has a roof!

Roof trusses in place before boarding.

New building taking shape. Walls and roof later this week.

Jason was one of the best known boats of the Nelson’s steamer fleet. It looks like this is Braunston where the boats were maintained.

Along with steam powered narrowboats and butties, Nelson’s Cement Works also had a fleet of lorries to deliver their goods.

It is 70 years since the Charles Nelson Cement Works closed. This is a view up the arm with the Leamington Weedon line going over the top.

Big weekend ahead with an historic boat gathering to celebrate Margaret’s 80th birthday. It will be something to remember for years to come.

Unexpectedly we have a vacancy at the wharf in a couple of weeks time.
