Hello. I'm Nelson.

Self-taught illustrator and writer of picture books.
Maker of apps, comics, movies and games.
I've worked in games and entertainment for over 20 years now, and after my kids came along I thought i'd write them my own bedtime stories.

After all - How hard could it be?

Well, pretty hard it turns out - for a start, I had to learn how to draw, and paint. From scratch. So I did, and so far so good, but there's a long way to go yet. After a few years, it turns out some folk like what I do! Hooray! So I put this bit of internet together in case you would like to know more, or commission a painting, or even a whole picture book.

I've noticed that lots of other artists and websites sell prints, but I think you can't beat an original piece of art - there's something more special, more personal and obviously unique about it. So, all artworks you can see on this site are exactly that. Original. And if you commission me, that's what you'll get too.
