i love useing the gym there all i need too do the best workout i can . aslo the staff are great allways helpfull and friendly im going to go there for a long long time to come ....... cant praise the place enough ...

Took only a few weeks for refurbishment and the end result is outstanding.

When you walk through the turnstile upstairs the whole floor space is like a fitness paradise,

the equipment is as good as I've used anywhere else if not better.

The staff members are always on hand if you need advice on machinery or exercises.

One more thing........

You go in there first thing on a morning and the cleaners are whizzing around and they keep that place immaculate, mirrors floors machines absolutely everything, they work there socks off keeping it to a very high standard and that gives me that feeling where i just think.....

Yeahhhh this is the place for me

I'm a regular swimmer at the pool and just want to thank ALL the staff. They are always very friendly and very helpful, under often challenging circumstances. Feel very lucky to have this pool in my area.

I attended the NEW Pilates class on Wednesday morning (9.30/10.30) first timer, I loved it, the instructor was great, I learned a lot! Great classes

Great pool, normally pretty quite during adult swimming sessions so can swim laps most of the time while not having to worry about other people. Seems to be plenty of staff who all seem friendly, no complaints.



EDIT: I do mostly go on Sundays so not sure if this is representative for other days as it has been pretty busy when I went during the week.

Excellent changing/shower and gym facilities. love coming to this gym more than ever. friendly staff and environment. Less waiting around to use equipment as there is more than one of the same.a truly 5 star gym

Enjoy going to the gym.all the staff.except Paul who tried to kill me by convincing me to go on the spinning bikes a while ago (only joking). are all on hand for help and advice. And I do need it sometimes.

I had booked a 45 minute virtual spinning class through my app or so I thought, the class actually only ran for 30 minutes so was a little dissapointed, I reported it to the staff who I found very helpful who assured me that they will look into this and see that it is rectified.

great atmosphere main pool a little cold was told it would be closed at 4.30 but we were kicked out to small pool at 4.10 so they coud set up for the "team" training which has now happened a few times

Went for ladies sauna and steam room, really dissapointed!! Steam room stunk of dirty drainage and the outer area also not too clean..the sauna was good and the swim was fine!! The steam room massively put me off though.

The council needs to ensure Everyone Active is carrying out proper maintenance, brought my little boy for swimming lessons and there's lockers and changing rooms with no doors and a lot of the changing rooms locks are broken not what you'd expect to find �

Still major issues with lockers in male (gym) changing rooms. Walked in to find most lockers locked/used, leading me to think the gym was really busy - this was not the case. (7.1.18)

Attended swimming gala , too hot , too crowded , no cafe facility's :( but the kids had a great time

Rang up to see if open got there 1030 to be told only baby pool open. All ages in the baby pool totally crammed no fun for anyone. 4 teenage boys throwing a hoop around I witnessed it hitting two oap in the face. Nothing said. All Neptune are bothered about is the people paying for swimming lessons. Not a fun experience for a 15, 11 and 7 year old �

My children go to swimming lessons here and whilst I have no issues with their lessons I am contemplating removing them from lessons due to the uncleanliness of the changing areas and toilets in the swimming area. They are absolutely disgusting and a serious health hazard. The toilets absolutely stink and if you look at the floor behind the toilets there is a rim of thick black gunk which will no doubt be full of bacteria/germs. The floors in the changing rooms are full of ground in dirt, dead skin and hair which has obviously been there for months. When your 5 year old comments on how disgusting the toilets are you know there is something seriously wrong. If this is the state of cleanliness in the swimming area I dread to think what the rest of the building is like. I am seriously considering contacting Public Health for them to carry out an independent inspection of this building!

I cant go in the pool at the moment for medical problems so my mum takes my son in. I usually sit in seating at side of childrens pool but today i have been told this is not allowed? So now my sons in childrens pool and am stood like a spare part for an hour and not able to watch him enjoy himself!!! They need to have the rules the same every week and stated clearly rather than picking and choosing!!!!

Also the price is different every week. And the lady on the desk decides whether you can use a dissability card from one week to the next!!!

Changing area filthy can see not regularly checked, discarded underwear, rubbish and floors caked in mud.

People been allowed to walk along main pool area wearing outdoor shoes, pushchairs in and out of pool area's, eating at the side of the pool. Encouraged to wash down before entering pool (showers) but then made to work barefoot on dirty floors due to lack of supervision of staff. Floor of small pool full of grit(small stones) a very unpleasant place. And it's nothing to do with the time of day as we've visited early Sunday morning (8:30am) and the changing areas are filthy & uncleaned!

Changing area again was very dirty. Nappies left on the floor a banana on one of the seats. empty bottles in the lockers & mud on the floor. I just can't see that this place is ever checked for dirt.



Also rules seem to change every week. one week you can sit by baby pool and watch your family the next you can but you must be bare foot then all of a sudden you arnt allowed at all... really need to make there mind up
