Rudolf Berlin, was the first to use the word 'dyslexia' from the Greek meaning 'difficulty with words,' in 1887. Just think how far we've come since then!

Nessy is looking for schools to participate in a brand new research project!
This will be a year-long study that Nessy is undertaking in partnership with Dr Yaacov Petscher of the Florida Center for Reading Research.
We are privileged to be working with people at the top of their fields, Dr Yaacov Petscher and Dr Hank Fein – heads of the National Center on Improving Literacy, funded by the US Department of Education, are both consulting on this project.
... We are looking for a total of one thousand students aged 5-6 over 3 continents to participate. You will be given early access to the progress monitoring component of our new Hairy Phonics program to run a series of assessments 3 times throughout the year. They are games-based and easy to do in a whole classroom or group setting. More details about the easy administration will follow.
If your school is interested please send us a message or email info@nessy.com
