Netherdene Country House

Booked through airbnb fairly last minute. Nice little bed and breakfast, good value for money compared to other properties in the Lake District, welcoming and friendly owners. Clean, cosy rooms, I stayed in a single with en-suite shower, toilet and wash basin squeezed in, I'm 6'2" and just about managed. Room itself was fine with room for my bags and views of the fells. Free wifi and use of a cosy guest lounge, a good base for a few days, close to Ullswater, Thirlmere, Helvellyn etc

Our 8th year staying with Netherdene, it's beautiful place with incredible hosts that always go above and beyond to make your stay amazing!

The bed and breakfast was wonderful with a very pleasant owner who made our stay very enjoyable with a warm cup of tea on arrival and a delicious breakfast, not to mention his friendly demeanour. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

Nice B&B. Lovely owners and great breakfast. This is our 4th visit and won't be the last. If you looking for something to do just ask Dean, he can recommend plenty of walks.
