Went to a 60th birthday party every one chosed there menu and handed them in 3 days be for the night there was 28 people in the party all food was brought out by the waiters in about 10 mins all food was well cooked and hot staff were great couldent falt in anyway highly recommend it

Went for a meal tonight with my partner.

The food came in good time and was beautifull

24oz steak i asked for medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Staff are very helpfull and polite. Highly recomend. If anything i would say it was under priced as i would have paid more for the quality and portion size. We will be going again for sure.

We finally called in after hearing nothing but good things about the New Board Inn. The good was fantastic, brilliant value and the staff lovely

Held a baby shower here yesterday & we had no complaints! There was 12 of us & the food came out all together, hot & very nice! Pub looks great & the staff were very helpful & friendly, we will defo be coming back!

Had a great meal today with my two kids, all food was fresh and had loads of flavour, staff were very friendly. Kids portions were huge and all lovely food, proper chips, homemade pizza etc. Will definitely be back

Been today good Friday 2018 I had corned beef and potato pie mushy peas and new potatoes with gravy.son and daughter had fish and chips with mushy peas,grandaughter had chicken nuggets mash and gravy.everything was spot on and very hot.staff were very attentive.we will be back again very soon.

We went last night to celebrate my daughters 8th birthday, the food was nice the only thing I would criticise is the cornbeef pie was a bit tasteless x

ive visited a few times for various celebration meals and although at first everything was lovely i must say now i am very disappointed. i booked this evening for my birthday as large party.

Upon arriving our table was not ready, so we were told to go to the bar to get some drinks until they got it sorted for us. After a little wait we were shown to our table which wasnt the cleanest and the menus themselves had disgusting stains on them.

We waited a good 15-20 minutes for someone to come and take our orders. Then a futher 45 minutes for our starters followed by another 30 minutes for our main meals, and although there was a few customers in, it wasnt massively busy as it was late in the evening. During this time noone come to see if we would like any more drinks whilst we were waiting, we continuly had to keep going to the bar ourselves.

When our meals finally arrived, most of them were fine and enjoyable, however some were not meaning some plates went back half eaten. The service was also disappointing from the staff.

Its such a shame as i previously reccomended this place to other family member and friends however now i will not be returning.

Went last night with family to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary unfortunately there was no beef left for the beef stottie or corned beef pie! I can understand no pie but why no beef. Beef must be one of the most popular things on the menu. The food overall is good but it's disappointing when things are not on the menu so it spoilt our night a bit given it waa a celebration.

Went for dinner on Saturday. Have been in the past and it is always beautiful. The food we got was beautiful, my complaintwhich reflects my score is we had to wait over an hour for it, other groups of people came for food ate and left before we got ours. Not sure why the delay as no explanation however they did offer us a complimentary dessert and a free round of drinks.

We went last night for dinner and wasnt particularly pleased. It lacked atmosphere. I asked for a bottle of merlot and was given a rose which I have never seen before to be told they didnt have any red merlot. My husband asked what beers they had and wasnt given a choice, waitress said they only had John Smiths. I had steak which was nice, my husband had hanging kebab which was a bit dry. I asked for a bread roll and got a baguette! Overall expensive for what it was. We won't be heading back too soon

Just been to have Lunch nothing much on menu if your trying lose weight. Thanks to the lady that served us she managed to change a Greek Salad into a Greek Salad with ham which was tasty but with it being the Summer thought there maybe a better range of Salads or Pasta to choose from on the menu.

Xmas get together with the girls friendly atmosphere on arrival ordered food which arrived quickly but unfortunately Roast of the day was awful presentation was terrible no colour what so ever beef tough Yorkshire Pudding burnt stuffing was like a rock potato tasted like smash and slopped on the plate vegetables consisted of one floret of broccoli cauliflower and three slices of carrot very very disappointed complained and received £1.40 discount from the price of my £7.00 lunch so all together it cost me £5.60 for veg as the rest was sent back .

Ordered beef strogonoff and I got what you would call beef with a little Spicey gravy , definitely not like last time and definitely not Strogonoff. Complained n they took it away and then said I could choose another meal, no thanks.The manager then says it's okay you don't have to pay for that , quite good of him since I only had 2 fork fulls ��

First time we’d gone to The Board Inn for Sunday Carvery and it was a disaster. Our table wasn’t ready on time, the waitresses got numerous things wrong with our bill, waitresses only came to our table after I asked them to clean it from the previous party and for our deserts. Overall I understand it was busy but we probably won’t go back.

Asked for well done belly pork came out asked for it changed was told that was the way it it comes like a lump of lard !!!!
