Was last here in 2013 so what a delightful surprise to find that the place has had a revamp since then
To begin with there is a
New TV lounge, Restaurant cafe, offering good food with Chairs and table dining, and off to one side soft furniture to relax on afterwards.
Meanwhile
A new Banya complex down stairs with plunge tub, has been built holding a good 15 people
There is still the old steam rooms and massage facilities, and cold plunge

Down stairs has changed too
There is a brand new Sauna,/Banya and out door plunge tub., new showers, along with the old steam rooms
Massage is offered but please ring a head

One of the best Sauna/Russian BANJA .......

Not a bad banya but really basic in other respects. Kind of a mix between a Russian banya and a council leisure centre. The people inside are great however, everyone is very friendly and chatty, almost all the world's continents are represented : ) -- yet to see AU and NZ however

I love the steam and the people that use the steam are a good laugh

It's a part of kind on that unusual, all sorts of people use the place. Rough and ready but accepting and calm all at once

I would say really old one I believe previously was meat butcher small factory looks like the same tables covered with some foam on top and really dirty every where. On internet they tell they have steam rooms and 4 saunas but problem is sauna did not work at all and in all just two steam rooms operating owner saying they will open new one run on gas in two week time but when i spoke with visitors they told me owner promise this all ready 1.5 yr every two week in two weeks really shame and cost 14 pound per person for what???? if you fancy dirty floors old walls and bad smell u are welcome

A true gem of a retreat. Couldn't be more different from your archetypal trendy 'wellbeing' hangouts. Decor leaves a touch to be desired in places (not a hint of hipster irony) but therein lies the charm. No fussing, got everything you need to unwind. The real deal. Has become the defacto man cave for me and my boy mates. There are mixed sessions also and people are very friendly, not leary. Make the effort to speak with Wayne and the other regulars, familiarise yourself with the unique culture and spirit of togetherness and you shall be rewarded.

Basic all you need not very classy but great food and a place to chill

Enjoyed it here with friends spent about over 3 hours.
