New Mills Carnival

13th June 2020: Theme: Super hero's. Procession leaves Market Street at 1PM and makes its way down Union Rd and up Albion Rd, turning right on to Wirksmoor Rd.

New Mills Carnival is an annual procession through the town onto the carnival field where there is a host of stalls and a fabulous funfair. It takes place in June. Attracting thousands from the local community, it really is a fantastic day out!

The parade gathers in Meal Street (walkers) and High Street (vehicles) from 11: 30
The procession leaves Market Street at 1: 00PM and makes its way down Union Road and up Albion Road, turning right on to Wirksmoor Road to meet the fair on Newtown Recreation Ground (behind Swizzels Matlow).

The fair arrives at Newtown Rec two days before the procession and leaves that night. Stalls will also be set up on the field - To book your stall in, please call 07794 545166 or email newmillscarnival@hotmail. co. uk.

The Carnival is organised by a committee who rely upon the support from the local community to ensure the annual event keeps running, so please come down and show your support!
