New Place Hotel the Stand Out Venue in Hampshire

Wonderful stay. Rooms clean and modern was a perfect place to relax.

What a find! Stayed here for an overnight with breakfast. Stunning main house with a great history. Staff were attentive and polite, nothing too much trouble. Rooms in the outbuildings were clean and modern and large. We took our dog with us and made extensive use of the grounds. The walk around the woodland trail was great both for the dog and myself - must be stunning in the summer with the trees in bloom. Husband used the pool and jacuzzi which was much appreciated after a long drive. Breakfast was extensive with all tastes catered for in the beautiful restaurant overlooking the croquet lawn. I fell in love with the Manor House and the staff were so knowledgeable about the history of the house. Considering the level of luxury offered for the price, this was a gem. Will return!

We married at New Place on Sunday 31st December. Some family and friends stayed the evening before and the whole occasion was perfect from start to finish. The staff were outstanding, the food amazing and every detail to make it special and magical was in place with nothing being too much trouble . Thank you to everyone , we have so many wonderful memories and look forward to returning in the future.

We had our wedding here on Sunday. Every member of staff we encountered from our first visit right through to checking out Monday afternoon were amazing! Especially Jacinta, Kay and Francesca who were helpful and supportive from the off. I would highly recommend anyone that is considering having their wedding here to do so. We attended the outdoor showing of the greatest showman last night and wow �

What an amazing event, everything was so well organised and the staff were so happy and friendly.

The bbq was delicious and great value for money and the Pimms on arrival was a nice touch.

We had a lovely evening �

Lots of laughs, dancing and best of all singing �

Can’t wait to do it again next year.

We stayed overnight on a Travel Zoo deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The house is stunning. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the complimentary bottle of wine a lovely touch. The food is exceptional and the staff superb! We will definitely visit again and hopefully the weather will be better so that we can enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Recently stayed overnight. The room was very stylish and absolutely spotlessly clean, with everything you could need - kettle, iron, hairdryer, safe, etc. The evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast the following morning, with a huge variety of choice of hot and cold food. The staff were extremely courteous and could not have been more friendly and helpful. A nice touch was a phone call to the room within 20 minutes of checking in to make sure everything was okay. I could also park right outside my room. The manor house is beautiful and grounds are stunning. Fantastic stay - cannot recommend highly enough.

In August 2017, we visited New Place as a potential wedding venue, and within 20 minutes of being there, we had been completely won over!



Up until the wedding, Kay looked after us. We really couldn’t have asked for more. By the end of the process, she was more like a friend, we knew that she truly cared about our wedding and wanted our day to be the best for us. I loved that she met Daryl (groom), myself, dad and bridesmaids at the door, gave us a quick hug, looked after my lipstick, primped my dress and just became one of the wedding party!



On the day, well! We had the most amazing day. We are still gushing about it now! Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our day the best it could be, even delivering beers to the groom’s room in the morning without being asked!

Our guests gushed about the incredible dinner service, and all remarked on the delicious food and professionalism of the staff.



Nicu was fantastic as master of ceremonies. He took all of the stress out of the day, shouldering it himself. One of my favourite photos is of him running from my wedding car to let everyone know I had arrived! He preempted every little wish or need and it didn’t matter how busy he was during the day, he always gave us whatever time we needed with him, talking us through the timetable and making it so easy! Liam was great, he looked after us fabulously from the first dance to the very end! Oh and a big thank you to Liam for hiding the straws for Daryl - can’t forget that plastic pledge, not even on your wedding day!



Thank you everyone. We had the most wonderful and happy day. Oh and thanks for arranging the gorgeous weather!

A beautiful location with a rich history.

Very friendly staff and the rooms have a higher quality standard than many of the hotels I have visited in the UK.



I will be coming back to this place as long it has a room for me.



The only negative might be that I would like some better soundproofing between the rooms. Or it might just be loud guests (talking laughing loudly next door).

I came for a afternoon tea yesterday with my daughter. The three male members of staff in the Restaurant were so friendly, efficient and attentive and a real credit to the Hotel. We met the Spa Manager who took us and showed us around the Spa, she was lovely! We then went into the Spa area where we had the swimming pool to ourselves, it was lovely! We had a nice relaxing time in the jacuzzi and had a short time in the Sauna. Definitely recommend this hotel to others, had a wonderful day! Thank you to everyone we met on the day.

Been here a Few Times with my Partner New place is Beautiful, stunning grounds surrounding and nice pool/Jacuzzi/sauna area. The staff are very welcoming, Friendly and provide a Great service and The Breakfast is Excellent and very delicious. An Enjoyable experience for both of us.

Absolutely stunning hotel with great service...we stayed with my nearly 3 year old n he was made to feel special n my husband had a great birthday with lovely surprise touches...beautiful gardens we’ve captured some great photos...great breakfast with so many options especially for little one n we enjoyed the leisure facilities too..would recommend to all x

Met family to celebrate their birthday. Stay for one night only😕 Given a map to help with your bearings as the bedrooms are spread out in different blocks. Rooms clean with all the facilities except for a fridge and poor lighting (you got used to that).

The buildings were amazing, inside and out. Grounds immaculate. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Staff very friendly, polite, and helpful. Considering the standard of this hotel, food and bar prices were very reasonable.

To receive 5 stars they need to do just a few small adjustments. Book in rooms explaining how to access leisure area etc., escorted to room when arriving.

Stayed for 2 nights to attend my niece wedding. I didn't like the room the curtains had mildew on the back, hair in the shower, the chair was torn and shabby looking, the shower when I turned it on was spouting all over the place. Iron got really hot and leaked hot water all over the ironing board we had to get a new one. I asked the ladies cleaning my room to come back at 11. I vacated the room to enable them to clean when I came back at 12 it was not done. I went to enquire about it. At 1.15 the lady came to clean it was not convenient as we were getting ready. I told her we were leaving at 1.30 she said she would come back they never did. 2 of the other guests in our party had issues with the shower where they could not turn off the shower hot water flooding the bathroom maintenance had to be called out. The bar man in the night was very rude and accused one of our party of being drunk and would not serve her, when asked what did he base his theory on he said she spoke loud, she naturally speaks loud and we found his comment out of line. The bar mans body language was terrible and a disgrace taking into account he works in hospitality. Breakfast was nice there was a spider in my tea cup. My daughter burned her arm on the very hot breakfast plate, there were no warning or caution signs to warn guest of the hot plates. I ordered fish and chips on the bar and it was brought out of the kitchen plonked on the bar for at least 5-10 minutes before the staff remembered it was there and brought it over. The room was not worth the £210.00 we paid. The grounds were nice. I would never stay here again.

The rooms are in separate bungalow style buildings. Our double was very small, there was not even enough space on the floor to put a suitcase w/o falling over it. The bed was very good but the window could only be tilted so the room was stuffy. When we asked at reception they put a nice quiet ventilator in the room and it was okay. The rooms are a bit shabby though with torn upholstery, mildew in the bathroom etc. When we asked about the code for the swimming pool in the morning we we were told we had to walk over to reception to sign in and be given the code first...
