While visiting friends in Saffron Walden, my daughter had a puncture, so took it in for a new inner tube. Collected it the next day payed my money and all good for the day. When we got back home the tyre had gone down again. On inspection the inner tube had not be changed or repaired as it was the same old tube as the other wheel. They obviously pumped it up and took my £10 for all their hard work! Would recommend if you are having anything done by this shop, mark all the parts on your bike so you don't get ripped of as I did.

Having a bike shop like this on my doorstep in SW is an absolute godsend. Last year, at the age of 65, I was forced to switch from running to cycling due to knee problems and the service and advice I've received from the lads in the shop - Colin, Chris and Liam - has been consistently first-rate. They are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and have kept me on the road over the past 14 months with regular repairs, puncture fixes and kit advice. With cycling still going through a boom phase the town is very fortunate to have this local cycling shop that offers excellent service from a thoroughly professional staff.

Popped in to buy a inner tube, but before I did I wanted to check it it was the correct valve size. I asked to take it out of the box and was rudely prevented by one of the staff members (grey hair). Who then lectured me as if I was a from another planet, once again rudely. You cant run a business when you are rude and hostile to new customers.
DONT BOTHER going there its much cheaper and a better experience if go to the shop two doors down or over the internet!!!

This shop its absolutely amazing. Very good equipment, service and friendly staff. From all the shops that I have been this one and Stratton cycles in London are the best ones. They will provide bicycle fitting and measurement, let you try several bicycles and provide advice that suit your needs and budget. I will take my three bicycles every time I need something. This is a proper bike shop! It smells of rubber and oil as it should. Staff could help me out quickly with the proper kind of cleats, which were quite expensive, by the way. I didn't buy any tools because prices were outrageous, hence the 3 stars where it should get 5 for the bike shop they are.
