Newlands Holiday Park

Love it here! Been once with friends and we stayed in a lodge and twice with my boyfriend staying in the bigger lodges. We both used to stay in Devon and Lyme Regis as kids and this holiday park has a great location for where we want to go out for days. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are awesome however there were a few missing tiles in the swimming pool. We've not tried the food in the restaurant but go and sit outside there with drinks overlooking the view. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. We will be back again next year!

Spent 4 nights early October in campervan...no problems...site very tidy...shower/toilet block block clean and comfortable. Didn't use bar or restaurant. Quick tip - if you decide to walk up the steepish hill to the National Trust's Stonebarrow Hill, take the shortcut via gate adjacent to dog-walking area & pods - saves you nearly 15 minutes and cuts out part of the steep hill climb.

Well situated site easy to find. Some pitches a bit close but the blue field seems to have more space and a newer shower block Dog exercise area is very limited but plenty of walks nearby. Nice pool and a slide mostly suitable for little ones.

The restaurant is really good.
The showers and toilets are standard but kept clean.
But your on a hill,so the view is very good from any pitch.

Stayed for five nights camping with gradchildren. Toilets and showers are filthy. They were only once while we stayed there. Even the grandson reported that the toilets are manky. The showers are dangerous with kids because they suddenly change temperature. I had to quickly move one of the boys away from the shower as the water was scalding suddenly. This must surely be a health and health and safety issue. The indoor is small and crowed. Will not return in a hurry. Very disappointing. When we arrived I was shocked to see how disgusting the toilets and showers were.

We spent the Easter break and had a really good time, plenty of places to visit in the area

Great lodge and site. Some broken furniture and one dirty frying pan. Great for a family holiday.

We love it here we've stayed in the wood cabins and now have returned camping in our van and for £38 a night with electric 2 adults 2 children and all the bits that comes with going to newlands (swimming pool excellent toilets and showers club house and lots of places for the kids to play) it well worth the money.
