I transferred from The university of Wolverhampton to Newman university and retook my second year. After recieving my results, I have been reassured that it's the best decision that I have ever made. The university is secure, the lectures aren't over crowded with students and the lecturers remember your name unlike Wolverhampton. Here at Newman university, I feel appreciated and valued.

Excellent University! I really enjoyed my time studying there. The staff were very helpful and inspiring. The lecturers knew how to provide us with information and help you as much as they can, also I felt safe and looked after during my time there. I wouldn't chose any other University for me it's the best. Thank you Newman University.

Great uni, interactive teaching, friendly, approachable staff and a great library over-looking the reservoir, best decision I made attending Newman!

About to start my third year and I feel that this university is underestimated severely.

As I study in the Creative Writing sector, my creative writing lecturer, I feel, is of great help and always gives the time of day. The university, as it may seem badly organised (and is), gives their students masses of attention and also the space they require to grow. This, in turn, leads to the student excelling in their topic area. I have amassed great amounts of confidence in my writing ever since I've been studying at the university and feel that in the area of confidence building and character development, this university is underestimated. Be that as it may, there is a serious lack of organisation within the university that needs to be addressed. For creative writing, on the other hand, the university continues to excel and it brings new concepts in thought and style to the table with workshopping, advice from the lecturer and continues to use new and innovative ways in which the students can think and produce in an environment that suits them. Again, a severely underestimated university.

All staff and students are friendly and welcoming; the support systems in place ensure that all students have someone to visit and talk to if any problems occur, and staff possess excellent capacities of knowledge and are experts within their subject fields.
