Newport Pagnell Yfc Description
Despite the name you don't even have to be from a countryside background to join a Young Farmers Club. YFC is more of a social group for young people to make new friends, learn life skills, and take part in a variety of competitions and take part in activities from welly throwing to cooking a 3 course meal; from tractor driving to flower arranging and self defence as well as many other things along the way!
YFCs are part of a worldwide organisation with clubs competing and socialising together. Competitions start off as inter club within the County and can progress to Regional and National level. There is also a well established opportunity for international travel to help you experience rural life in other parts of the world.

Last week we had a farm visit to Robin Kingham in Moulsoe. Lovely roast pork for refreshments as well as pudding. What a treat! Thanks for having us Robin.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the post below from the County Office concerning the death of Lauren, an Aylesbury member who always offered great support to NPYFC. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lauren's family and friends.

This week's meeting is on TUESDAY. Yes on TUESDAY not Wednesday! The meeting is Tug of War practice. This is because the heats are only a few weeks away! We have had to go for Tuesday this week to fit in with Osbornes. We need to meet at Osborne's at 7.30 tomorrow. Wear comfy clothes and boots. Any questions please let Georgina know.

Tonight we are having a party with the rest of the County Clubs but before the party we had a barbecue at the Singer's. Thank you for having us! Great fun!
This week it is the County Easter Car Treasure Hunt. We have to be at Buckingham Rugby Club for 7:30 PM. Ideally teams of 3-4 per car. This week's meeting will be at Heygate's. Transport is leaving from the Singer's house NO LATER THAN 6.30. You must have sensible footwear and NO dangly jewellery.
