We, Don and June, could not be more proud of what Dave and Kate have done and are still doing for the glory of God

This place is amazing! I have been studying at Nexus for a year and a half, and during this time I have been accepted, encouraged and supported more times than I count.



Something that really stood out to me when I first started was that nobody expected you to be any particular way. I didn't have to have incredible knowledge of music theory, or have a theologist mindset, nor did I have to be a blank slate copying other peoples opinions.



Nexus enables students to deepen their understanding, to explore and form their own opinions. It doesn't matter what your background is, or where you feel you are going, Nexus allows you to grow into that in a personal way.



The most amazing thing for me has been to see how my external world has shifted with me, the way people I love have been impacted by what I learn. The way staff members respect each and every student for their own faith and exploration. Understanding that every single one of us is unique, not built to be carbon copies of each other; we are made with an identity in Christ.



I have learnt to appreciate my own artistry in more than just the music industry but in my life as a whole. Encouraged by so many of the staff that its amazing not to be like the next person, that my views being different does not mean either one is wrong, that learning is a never ending process that is engaging and exciting. That God's love and revelation is boundless, and I can keep getting more and more!



I have learnt not to fear challenge, not to fear curiosity. Instead I embrace it, I relish in being able to discuss how God has spoken to me and how my opinions have come about. I thoroughly enjoy every single day as I am able to expand on all of these aspects and grow.



Nexus has been an incredible place to study and I am really looking forward to what is still to come during my time here!

The three years I spent at Nexus ICA were life changing. Not only have I improved in my musicality but through the teaching and culture of Nexus, I have improved and learnt skills such as communication, writing, how to follow, how to lead, a deeper knowledge and understanding of the bible, and lastly I have a far greater understanding of who I am and who God is. My faith has been strengthened, my sight expanded and my character developed far beyond what I could of imagined. It is only via the uniqueness of Nexus ICA that I find myself where I am today. I have been challenged and stretched physically, musically, mentally and spirituality and the growth that comes from that is incredibly rewarding! I highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore life as a christian musician.

Supperb UNI! I'd recommend it to anyone who is struggling through life and is a musician it really helps the people support you like no other university would support you!!! They become your friend someone who cares for you and has a passion to see u get thorough the year even if you feel like giving UP! I know I have done recently.... However Nexus have been such an amazing bunch of people in my life and I am going to miss spending time with them dearly!! Here is to new things to come!

Studying at Nexus ICA has changed my life so much for the better. I started Nexus with a good understanding of scripture, music and faith, but through the course this understanding grew into deeper revelation and activation. I discovered who God had called me to be, and that identity was nurtured in an incredible environment by the staff and my fellow students as we all pursued God and excellence in music together.



I'm now a husband, a dad, a composer, run a business, work in marketing and am deeply connected to my church. So much of what I learnt at Nexus ICA has supported me in these ventures and in becoming the man God wants me to be today. And I am sure they will continue to support me and develop me as I keep discovering all that God has for my life.



I can't thank Nexus ICA and the staff enough for the consistent time, wisdom, patience, skill and love they all made available to me during my time there.

So it says I was Nexus yesterday lol, but that is not the case. Lol, however, I am catching up on old time and flicking through the great, challenges' I faced and loved being a part of Nexus in 2008 and 2009!! I was grateful to learn from the best and to mature into growing in time through learning to push my body, faith, and mental agility in reminiscing through my old photo to put on Instagram! David Silber and I were just remembering the first time we did I think 66 hours of drumming Nd about how incredible that experience was, but also how our bodies, mental, along with physical agility to complete our drumathon as a group back in My 2009!



We also talked about how amazing his son drummed for so long at 14 and I was truly grateful to drum and find a passion to learn to hear the truth in Hod’s scriptures, as well as learning to drum and give God all the glory for His incredible strength that carried us all through the different stages of life in drumming not only for that year but for others who completed it!



I love God and throughthat year learnt how blessed and fortunate I was to have to have good walking legs and grateful for the knowledge, love and passion to drum for Christ in anything I do as well!



Missing some the good friends I met along the way at Nexus but thank you to all the staff, compassion, grace and kindness of having and allowing me to even study for that year!

Nexus offers an opportunity to study in an environment where teaching and learning can take many forms. Because it is not overly crowded, the class sizes enable the students to have direct contact with staff during both the timetabled slots and outside of the Nexus structure. I am able to grow spiritually, educationally, emotionally, socially, and musically. It is a well-rounded education that I have not found elsewhere. It is based around a tight-knit community full of support for one another. I walked through the doors a much different person than I am now. With the third year validation, I am now given the option to stay for a third year. What a gift to find such a beneficial learning environment filled with staff who are invested in the lives of the students and with students who become like family.

Nexus is such an amazing place for developing both musical ability and grounding faith. I've learnt more about God, myself and music in these last 2 and a half years than I thought and it's so exciting being here at this time! What a privilege to see Nexus coming into this full validated degree course, with the opportunity of impacting more students and the education system. Such a beautiful testament to the faithfulness and commitment of the staff <3

Last nights performance of Awakenings was superb. The way you have developed “Voices” writing all your own songs. I actually think the change to the 2nd half makes sense and gives the story a better flow.



This production can, and should, go on the road, it is fantastic.



Loved the story, loved the characters, loved the music and I loved the message.



Well done to everyone involved front of house and in the background. You are all amazing. Nexus is an incredible place and I am SO pleased that Jordan has been there.

What a disaster for them all!!

They just don't realise how talented they ALL are!!!

Such a shame they should have charged at least twice, if not three times what they are for the tickets!!!!

Totally underselling themselves!!!

What a fantastic place, and a wonderful bunch of young performers.

From start to finish there was not a weak person in this show. This should be taken all over the world on tour, and made into a film.

Their acting and singing is second to none.

We've seen performances all over and they are so professional.

They need to make a cd. The final number when they all sing together was incredible. The whole cast, you would not better it in the West end!!!!!! Parents or students, if you are wondering whether this is the right place for your loved one, don't be stupid, you only get one life, sign up quickly!!!

Young adults get such a hard time these days with so much negativity being talked about in the news.

The staff here obviously have it spot on, and for any nay-sayers out there, it is easy to say " well they are bound to be nicey nicey kids because it's a Christian based place!" Well doo doo to that, these students are being led by a brilliant team and we're proud our daughter is part of it. Too many faith based works get slated. Keep up your fantastic work . If you want your faith and musicality to be built, challenged and strengthened this is the place to be! I learnt so much from this place. Yes it has lots to improve on but it's core values are the people and building thier character up. I think high education misses this far too often! You are not a number here, you are family.

I studied at Nexus ICA for 3 years. I studied vocals and the teaching was great vocal, Great place to learn more about community and amazing opportunity to develop leadership shills. Much more than just a Music/Art University. Would recommend it to everyone.

Going to Nexus was the best decision I have ever made, it helped me see God and to build a relationship with him which will shape and determine the rest of my life. The staff invested so much time, energy and emotion to help me grow and develop and I have never known people like it before. I had so much fun, learnt more than I would be able to communicate and I wouldn't change one minute of it.

Being at nexus was one of the greatest adventures I have ever been on and it has changed the way I will live every moment of my life.

Coming to Nexus to study was the best decision of my life. I was invested in personally, stretched beyond what I thought was possible, and was given the skills to thrive in all other areas of my life.



I am a new person because of what God did in my life through Nexus and couldn't recommend it highly enough! If you're looking for a place to study popular music and worship, then check Nexus out!

Being able to study the Bible, Worship, Drumming and Music all in one place is such an awesome privilege and cannot express how grateful I am for this opportunity. It's brought incredible friendships, memories, teaching, opportunities and an understanding of community that has to be experienced to be believed! The staff are incredible and go far and beyond what their job description describes; acting as role models, friends and of course incredible teachers. Super excited and expectant to see what God has in store for the next year and a half of being at Nexus before moving onto something different!

After 3 years here I've come away with a degree, a huge family and a better understanding of who I am. Nexus makes such an effort to ensure that people who step through their doors are cared for and helped to grow and I've loved my time here!

Though we have been married many years my husband and I we found the performance and story line provoking and challenging too and thankful to be reminded what voices we listen too and the what choices we make .

A great environment to learn more about who you really are, your purpose in life, your strengths, your weaknesses. A lot of teaching that has to be put into practice if you really want to make the most of it. And this applies to music in general as well as theology and worship. :) #2013-2016 #transformEverything
