Steve listened to my requirements and designed a purpose built computer to need my demanding needs. Steve explained the range of components available and we designed to an agreed budget. The computer was ready within a week.

The computer has exceeded my wildest dreams and I have a high specification dream machine at a sensible price.

Lovely people to deal with and they keep all their promises.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Took my laptop in after it had been dropped and wasn't working properly, it needed a new hinge and Hard drive needed replacing.

After collecting my laptop the keyboard wasn't working properly and the hinge didn't seem right and made a loud clicking noise when the screen was moved past a certain point.

Returned the laptop and paid again for it to be fixed and this time it worked fine except the for the hinge. over time the hinge broke the plastic and caused the screen to be hanging on by nothing more than wires, after calling nexus I was told they only offer a 30 day warranty and I would need to pay for a diagnostic test even though their inept repairs were the reason for the problem.

Took it to another company who didn't charge just to look at a broken screen and fixed it within days.

Terrible customer service.

I have been using Nexus for years. Excellent service, very helpful, nothing is to didy to deal with and you get great computers. And they come to your house if you have problems with computer and internet. Great!

I cannot rate these guys highly enough. I go to them for everything computer related, from having a new system built to if I want to just buy little bits and bobs. Top notch chaps who are a world of information and really friendly to boot. One of the greatest things about them is that they don't try and sell you things you don't need or rip you off. They are incredibly honest and if they can save you a pound or two they will.

Fantastic computer builders, just had 2 computers built and a new 32inch screen, great job on my aero cool, water cooled, light up graphics. As said in the shop my business is growing and will definitely be coming to you for more super fast computers.

Superb service. Knowledgeable staff. Flawless build. They even looked after me months after the final purchase had been made. It doesn't get much better than this.

This is a computer shop were the staff know what that are talking about, and the staff are helpful to.
Parking is round the back of the shop, the entrance to the shop is of a main road and inside there is a very steep slope not suitable for wheelchair.

Nexus Technology are the best computer shop in colchester ! I wouldnt bother taking your pc anywhere else because you will not get the level of customer service/expertise in any other shop. Thanks Nexus !

Nexus have a knowledgeable, professional team who clearly pride themselves on offering an outstanding customer service.

Unlike large companies who generally only work to a 'one size fits all' sales policy and dubious servicing capabilities, Nexus offer a thoughtful, bespoke build service and excellent value for money for both the purchase of new kit and repairs to tired machines. I took my cranky 6 year old Core i3 laptop in for a service and serious hardware upgrade this week. What I had when I left the shop was a lightning fast laptop every bit as capable as a new model but at half the price. What's not to like.

Steve is now building a bespoke tower system to my specification. I live in France and travelling to Colchester takes me a full day. This is a measure of my trust in this company. I would recommend other ex pats to use Nexus with confidence. I am sure sensible carriage costs could be worked out.

In person, on the phone and/or by email, he has always gone more than the extra mile for my family and I, and I cannot rate his services high enough. For anyone considering a new PC/Laptop, wanting to upgrade an existing PC/Laptop or have any questions about technology Steve at Nexus is your man. I will never walk into a mainstream national retailer for any of my PC needs again. And nor should you! Truly exceptional service.
