Will definitely revisit in a few months.

I felt really welcomed and appreciated by all of the staff and was looked after very well.

What fantastic staff, this was my first go at giving blood and was very nervous (don't like needles) but if I can do it so can you.

Today I gave blood in memory of my Lovely Mum who passed away this year after a long battle with cancer and also as a huge thank you ( although thank you dosnt really cover it!!) to those who make selfless blood & plasma donations wether it's a one off or a regular thing.Without you we would not have had the extra time we had with her. The lovely staff at Cathedral Court blood donor centre in Sheffield were warm, welcoming and friendly and made my donation feel extra special, especially today the day offer her birthday.

To all you people out there that can donate blood please do so,every bit helps someone in need, it might be you one day

The staff were absolutely fantastic, thankyou

The staff are great and friendly. I actually enjoy going. It's like a trip to see old friends. I've been going some 35 years.

Staff are friendly and professional. Make you feel comfortable. You get to sit down for 30 mins and get free tea and biscuits and crisps! And your giving something that costs nothing to do but gives so much. 5 stars for me.

My daughter and I donated together, my 75th pint, her 8th, on her birthday. Always a friendly welcome, smooth service and a relaxing lie down followed by tea and biccies. What's not to like?

Lovely friendly staff, makes the donation so much nicer. Thank you! Made my 4th donation today. To the lady (sorry I didn't get your name) who looked after me in the refreshments area, you was correct about the Little Herd been due to the elephant Sheffield had in the First World War, so I learnt something new too today.

Info on the Elephant :-

Sheffield has an international reputation for steel production and is often referred to as the Steel City. It was this that established it as one of England’s main industrial cities and its steel industry is still celebrated today.

From 1916, on the cobbled streets of Sheffield, an elephant called Lizzie was employed throughout the First World War as the city ’s horses were enrolled by the military. Lizzie played an important role as she had to cart heavy loads of steel and machinery through the city’s streets for Thomas Ward Ltd – a job previously done by horses.

Herd of Sheffield will celebrate the 100th anniversary of this special elephant and reaffirm the legacy of innovation which still exists in our city today.

I'm a platelet donor. 1 hour and 30 minutes every other month with friendly staff and continuous coffee and biscuits! Can't ask for much more. Well done everyone who donates...😇

User

I use one of the mobile services but it wouldn't let me check in. Always really friendly staff who are ready to help and even chat to my son whilst I donate.

I gave blood at Sheffield cathedral court yesterday. I had a dizzy spell last time i donated so I was a little aprehensive but the staff soon put me at ease. I gave my bag of blood in around 5 minutes. I felt fine afterwards :) No bruising at all Looking foward to receiving my txt to say where it has been used

I became a regular donor, & it's a good job I did as I'm o- negative which is quite rare. It's the thought of kids dying, needing much needed transfusions that made me do it. I wouldn't want a child to die just because sombody can't be bothered to donate. It doesn't hurt, & doesn't take that long. So if your thinking of do it please do.

First time donating and as much as I was determined to do so was still a little nervous. The staff were lovely and friendly, talked you through every step and made sure you were always comfortable throughout the process. The donation itself was literally was over in 10 minutes and then you were looked after by a lovely lady serving drinks and you could help yourself to snacks. Will be a regular donor from now on

User

Brilliant smooth service that keeps everyone calm and relax. I was quite nervous the first time I donated but everyone in there knows so much and spends time talking to you, making you feel confident and happy about doing this brilliant thing! Will be going again and again

User

Been several times before but this visit was by far the best! Made best friends with my nurse Janet as we chatted about all sorts of things and felt relaxed and at ease the whole way through! Brill

User

Amazingly friendly staff who really care about you. Thank you so much for caring for me today, and for making sure I was okay as I felt faint last time. Huge shout out to my donor carer today who was so lovely throughout the process. I'm so sorry but I forgot your name! She had white hair and glasses. :)

See you in a few months!
