Some great advice here for staff and residents

Back to basics Hand hygiene remains the most important part of good infection prevention and control. It’s vital that staff in all areas of healthcare , including care homes know the correct hand hygiene technique and when the should be washing their hands .Make sure your staff /colleagues have awareness of this , do you undertake hand hygiene audits within your home ?

Thanks to all our champions who have attended the meetings over the last 2 weeks and to the managers who have released staff to come along , without your input into the meetings they don’t have the same impact 💖
