Giving blood is an amazing experience and there is an urgent need for certain types of blood from people, such as male donors, black donors and O negative type blood donors. This National Blood Week 2019 please start your blood story and register to donate at www.blood.co.uk and help save a life. If you can't attend a free donating event listed on Facebook with NHS Blood Donation https://www.facebook.com/pg/givebloodnhs/ events/ then find your local venue and donate the red stuff when you can. #MyBloodStory #GiveBlood

Exercise isn't all about running or hitting the gym. Gardening, as a form of exercise, can help you stay healthy, energetic and independent as you get older. If you're growing veggies or salads just think of all the super fresh produce to add to your healthy five a day!
