💙 Father’s Day - 21st June 2020 💙
As many of you are already aware, we put together pork pie gift boxes and sell them through our second online store, Pigs in Pastry. Delivery is nationwide, but we have never really offered this service locally.
Well, we’re going to do things a little differently this year! As a one off, during this strange period of lockdown and self-isolation, we’re going to deliver our porky gifts locally 🐽🎁
... We don’t know if the shop will be open as normal by 21st June (we hope so!), but the plan is to deliver our Father’s Day Pork Pie Gift Bags on that Sunday. There will be a small delivery charge, but we will donate this to the NHS 🌈
Ryan and I need to sit down and make a decision re the contents of each bag, but we’ll keep you posted!

We are now taking orders for next week. Please note: our collection and delivery service will not be available on Wednesday, 22nd April.

Before placing your order, please note:
⚠️ The BBQ Pack is a shop collection offer. However, if you would like delivery, it can be bought as an 'add on' item if the minimum spend for delivery has been met purchasing other items.
⚠️ The shop will be closed until further notice. The only way to order is via email or telephone. We CANNOT accept orders via Facebook at this time.
⚠️ To avoid the handling of cash, payments must be made in advance. This can be done via credit/debit card over the phone (preferred), or we can send a PayPal request for payment to your email address.
⚠️ When ordering, please state whether you would like collection or delivery and provide the necessary details including a contact telephone number. Please provide a collection time.
⚠️ The cut-off time for orders is strictly 3.00pm the day before you would like your order. So, if you would like to receive an order on Thursday, you have until 3.00pm on Wednesday to place it.
⚠️ The meat packs cannot be changed. We are unable to swap items or personalise meat packs during this busy time.
🔘We will deliver to BB9 postcodes Tues, Wed, Thurs & Sat (NOT Wed this week). 🔘Delivery to BB8 postcodes will take place on Thursdays. 🔘Delivery to BB10 postcodes will take place on Fridays. 🔘Delivery to BB12 postcodes will take place on Wednesdays, but NOT this week.
*Please see the Order Form for minimum spends. Deliveries are made from 4.00pm onwards.

Our delivery service is complimentary and is carried out after a full day of making produce in the shop. We aim to complete all of our deliveries by 7pm, but this isn’t always possible.
If you require your order before 7pm, shop collection may be a more suitable option 😊

Another busy day at Nicholson’s HQ, but today the focus was on our online meat orders and our pork pie gift service (Pigs in Pastry).
If you’ve placed an order for delivery/collection tomorrow, but I haven’t replied, I will do so first thing tomorrow morning.

Good morning, everyone! 😊☀️
We have enjoyed the time off over Easter and eaten far too much chocolate, but it's back to our new reality now.
I will begin replying to emails as soon as we've boxed up today's internet orders. As always, emails relating to tomorrow's orders will take priority.
... Over the weekend, Ryan and I realised that we may have to limited the number of deliveries we can make, and we may have to re-assess the areas we deliver to. Working a 12 hour day and then spending 2-3 hours delivering is taking its toll and can't continue long term.
So, if you're fit and health and not in self-isolation, please consider collecting your order from the shop. Our shop is closed to the public (no queuing in a limited amount of space), and we offer non-contact collection, so it really is very safe.

Ryan, the girls and I will be enjoying a couple of days off over the Easter weekend ☺️👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
I would like to say that we're taking Tuesday off in lieu of Good Friday, but we'll be prepping and dispatching a backlog of internet orders.
I will respond to any orders/emails received over the weekend on Tuesday afternoon/evening. However, I may not get through them all, so if your order can wait until later in the week (later than Wednesday), that would be appreciated.
