Went with my mum on a weds night. Delicious food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Second time I've been and would definately recommend 👍🏻

Went on Monday for my daughters 24th Birthday, table of 8 and it was amazing. Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for us and we ordered twenty five dishes which all came out quickly, hot and at the same time. We have been before and it never disappoints and will be back soon.

We visited on Sunday 1st October . It was our second visit . The restaurant is amazing , the food is very tasty and plentiful, definitely good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful and give a very good service . We also had our 21months old Grandaughter with us and she loved the meatballs and garlic bread . I have been recommending this restaurant to my friends . Well done to everybody .

Three of us went before a show for a meal waiter very welcoming, something for everyone on the menu. Two of us had a selection of Tapas which were all cooked & presented excellently & one had steak cooked just as she wanted. First visit & won't be the last.

Spur of the moment visit with my Wife. We were the first there but it soon got busy.

A lovely place, The service was good, we had the 5 for the price of 4 tappad a mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes wit breads and a salad.

There was more than enough and the food was excellent.

Great value for money will deffinately pay a return visit, would like to see what it is like in the evening.

Love this place and wanted to treat my partner for Valentines Day, didn’t fail us - he loved it. Thank you.

Ive read previous reviews and they must have uped their game because the service was excellent. We waited no time for our food and it was delicious. I would definitely go back and recommend Nicholsons tapas.

I went here with my Mrs to celebrate me passing my second year at uni . The food is lovely and well priced!! Service is awesome ... really what more could you ask for xx

I need to eat at Nicholson's more frequently. The food is beautiful, the atmosphere is intimate, AND it's very easily walking distance from my house. I wouldn't bother going anywhere else for tapas, it'll just be disappointing.

Food superb great choice of dishes would definitely recommend this restaurant

Went to Nicholsons for a surprise lunch time Tapas with my wife. It was such a brilliantly sunny day we sat at one of the 2 x outside tables. Settled on the '5 tapas for the price of 4' option plus a pint or two of Estrella and a few large glasses of wine for wifey. Between us we chose the Pimentos del Padron (small green peppers fried in olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt); the Spanish Classic Paella de Carne (chicken, chorizo and shrimps); Albondigas (pork and beef meatballs in a rich tomato sauce); Champinones Al Horno (mushrooms baked with blue cheese, garlic butter and breadcrumb stuffing) and finally an Empanada de Queso (deep fried parcels of goat's cheese in filo served with cranberry sauce). A young Spanish chap served us; he was bright and cheerful, was efficient and had a friendly manner. The lunch was ‘unplanned’ but we thoroughly enjoyed it and we will return again very soon. The bill, not including the drinks and tip, came to about £20.00.

Paella was lovely. We up graded to 3 persons which us two practically finished. We chose the prawns head on, mussels and squid. Sangria red was weak ...couldn't taste any brandy though. Calamari battered with garlic dip is a must

I went on my own as I am working away. I was greeted by a very pleasant Spanish waitress, who showed me to my seat. The selection is good, all of my favourites from Spain so made the choices very easy. The food was so authentic you felt like you could have been in a local Spanish town, all that was missing was the sunshine. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Great service and a lovely meal. Thank you �

Had a birthday meal and the service was great , very organised and professional , went that extra mile to reassure nothing would go wrong on this special day . Quiet, relaxed and personal . Thank you

Went for lunch here yesterday. Fortunately it wasn’t too busy and so we were able to be seated straight away. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Food was good and plenty of it. Will definitely go back.
