My charges depend upon the nature of the task and the time involved. My hourly rate is usually around £10-15 per hour. The price will reflect the normal cost of similar services on an employment basis, plus a percentage to cover cost such as pension and NI.

For example, a full time administrator paid at £8. 36 p /h would cost the employer £10. 13 p /h when annual leave, pension and Employer NI has been factored in. My charge for such work would be therefore be £10. 13 per hour. My services should not cost your business any more than a regular employee and represents a significant saving compared to recruitment agency fees.

My letter writing service is charged at a flat rate of £15 per hour, which is to reflect my time spent writing and researching, plus my costs such as utilities, equipment and stationery.

In respect of those seeking help with welfare benefits, ethically, I feel it is necessary to advise clients of where they may find the information they need to deal with their claim themselves, without charge. I will only charge my fees if the client wishes for me to write documents on their behalf.
