Nickolls And Perks

My first order with this company and they cancel the order due to not having enough bottles for all the orders they received. They informed me via email and apologised, but didn’t leave me wanting to use this company again. I feel they could have done more.

UPDATE: I was contacted after leaving a review on here and Facebook and the company did send me the bottle I originally ordered.

We have bought wines from Nickolls and Perks for many years. We have always found them to be very helpufu and friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Living in Canada and wishing to buy my daughter, who was resident in England, a birth year bottle of vintage port, after a bit of research, I found Nickolls and Perks online. I wrote and explained what it was that i needed, having found a suitable bottle in stock. The staff at Nickolls and Perks were extremely helpful in arranging secure delivery to her in time for her birthday. At all times I felt that I was one of their best customers even though it was a first time purchase and a single bottle at that. I only wish that there were wine merchants of their calibre available here in Canada!

I have been purchasing from Nicholls and Perks for a couple of years now. I always receive my orders quickly and safely packaged. Their communication has always been good. I like the wide variety of spirits that they offer. I only wish that I could get better access to some of their allocated offerings.

I've been shopping at Nickolls and Perks since my college days in the 90s (back when you could wander around the basement sniffing out 100 year old bottles of port!) and the quality of service and variety in the shop has never changed. Even though I now live a couple of hundred miles away, I still consider myself a loyal customer!

Not only does Nickolls and Perks have a great High Street shop but they also have a top-notch online shop offering a selection of excellent whiskies. The website is easy to navigate and whenever I have called or emailed their customer service team they have been first class.

I would avoid Nicholls and Perks at all costs. Bought 12 bottles of a high quality red to keep for a special occasion some time later. Stored in perfect conditions but 20 months on I find that most of them are undrinkable. Some were perfect. Nicholls and Perks will only offer a discount on some further purchases i.e. I need to spend more money with this dubious company in order to get any recompense. Disgraceful!

Best wineshop in uk, also does a number of specialist events for wine port, and whiskey evenings. Highly recommended.

Used these guys a number of times over the past 18 months for web purchases, always fast and efficient service and deliveries come well packaged and with good couriers.
The web shop has a great selection and prices are competitive.
