Toni from @sugarsweetproductions just rushed round to me like a whirlwind, asked if the shed was tidy and rushed though to scan round it with her camera. (She makes videos). I had just been polishing off the last of the biscuits left from Diana’s @voxerbrand Canva workshop and didn’t know what was going on. Outside were three amazing little electric Renault cars wizzing around which had been driven here by their owners and Toni’s son with Toni in the back !! They’re calle...d @twizytours and you can rent them by the hour or day to sightsee round London. They can park anywhere and are great fun. As it’s July 4th one had the American flag painted on. They’ve got great reviews on Trip Adviser. . . Toni’s a ball of energy and when we met a year ago it transpired that we’d both worked in flower shops next door but one to each other for about 10 years ! It’s a small world. Now back to the biscuits. . .

The wonderful ladies of @thefamilyspacelondon have just finished a 6 week parenting course and will start another one in September. Tonight is Words and Wine by @creativewrites which is always great fun and totally non competitive. There are 2 tickets left if you’d like a laugh whilst doing some light little writing exercises with a lovely mixture of people.

Now they’re happy. The birthday girl at yesterday’s craft party loved feeding them.

Some pages by 4 lovely girls after school last week at a scrapbook session. It was for one of the girl’s 10th birthday and she didn’t want a big party so just choose her sister and two friends. The mum brought chocolate cup cakes, mini doughnuts and smoothies which they had in the garden. It was such nice weather and they fed nasturtium flowers to my grateful tortoises. .

I’ve had a little garden tidy up and got stung by a bee in the process. I think it was a bee as it wasn’t as painful as wasp stings I remember. . . Jennie Parke Matheson of @jennie_white_wave was in the shed again for the day on Saturday teaching massage. The lovely weather meant they could all sit in the garden during their breaks.

The lovely parenting course ladies have just gone...... and left these behind, for me !! I’ve put them away and will go to bed and try to forget that they’re in the kitchen, a mere few metres away, calling my name. The ladies provide extraordinarily good snacks, these biscuits, top notch mixed nuts, and the best grapes money can buy. They left me some nuts and grapes too which I’ll devour with clear conscience tomorrow. The biscuits shall, I hope stay tightly hidden away and I’ll bring them out for Nichola Charalambou’s Creative Writing evening ‘Wine and Words’ this Thursday evening. The last of the lilac from the garden just picked to put in the shed for a great parenting course led by Susie Davies and Suzanne Haslett of which is happening right now.
They’ll be starting another course here on Tuesday evening September 10th. You really couldn’t wish to meet lovelier ladies.

The dog had a lovely time this morning at the birthday party of 7 year olds. The homemade cake was amazing and you can’t see it here but the icing was as shiny as a mirror.

The hawthorn has never flowered as amazingly as this before. When I look at it I see the shed with white dreadlocks.

Lovely Welsh poppies are keeping the bees very happy.

All set for another wonderful Women’s Circle today led by Sara Adler who’s a Wilderness Rites of Passage Guide and is the most forgiving and non judgemental person I’ve ever met. The next one is on June 22nd.
This wisteria is over 100 years old and grows through an old plum tree.

The most exciting time for me (garden wise) is when the first Californian Poppy is born, it’s like a birth, and it happened in my garden this morning. Everything about it is perfect and they genuinely make me so happy and I remember the first time I saw them when I was in America many years ago and I couldn’t believe there could be anything so beautiful.

There will be another Women’s Circle in The Green Shed N10 Muswell Hill ,this Saturday May 11th, 12 till 6pm. . Led by Sara Adler who is a Women’s Rights Of Passage Guide who lives in Muswell Hill. .... It’s always a lovely day with lots of laughter, the occasional tear, great food, lots of support, meeting new people, sharing stories and listening to Sara’s amazing adventures from all over the world.
