FLEAS! Guys it’s coming to that time of year we’re fleas are becoming very popular with our furry little friends. Already this week I’v lost £100 in missed appointments and dogs I’v had to send home due to having fleas. I’m sorry I cannot groom dogs with fleas present. I will contaminate my shop and other dogs plus I’m allergic to their bites!
I’m going to be sending out reminders the day before your appointment. Please remember I’m just a mum with two kids running a lit...tle shop trying to earn a living. A lost appointment to me is money literally out of my pocket and essentially my families pocket. £100 lost this week. What could you do with £100. Just think of £100 lost from your monthly wage packet.
Please remember to keep up with flea treatment and to keep your appointment.

Hi 😊, with the weather being so hot my little shop has been really busy trying to keep up with all the hot doggies coming in, I’v been trying my best to fit everyone in, and some I’v not been able to I’m deeply sorry.
There is a bit of a back log to get in now, and we’re as I could usually get you in for an appointment a few days to a week or two in advance, it’s become 3 weeks to over a month notice.
Things will settle down eventually and I just advise you pre book to av...oid disappointment, I don’t mind cancellations with notice as I can always fill your place with people wanting earlier appointments. I especially advise pre booking Xmas in October I can fill the space if you give me 24hr notice. I may need to take a deposit for Xmas as last year I got a few cancellations that really left me out of pocket 😞. I really need at least 24 to 12 hours notice during this time although I do realise some things can’t be helped.
I really appreciate your custom, loyalty and patience with me I know I can be a pain in the arse getting back to you, my phone never stops ringing and although I love this, I love my job. sometimes my family and loved ones must get my full attention. Please remind me I really appreciate this as sometimes, well all the time, my memory is really bad 😣.
Also just to let everyone know that I’m going to be extremely busy in work during August and September, already my next availability is end of August, this is mainly due to me being busy but also I’m not in as much, due to - this is olivers last summer holiday before high school and I really don’t think it’s fair he comes into work with me every day.
Next year will be different Hel be old enough to stay at home so it should all settle down with more time to groom your lovely doggies I’v grown to love over the years.

Quick reminder to all Nicky's Pooch Parlour clients. My loyalty card system has now finished, it ended 03/08/16.
The old cards were costing me too much and the new cards were just confusing people. I'v just taken them all away.
Really sorry to disappoint anyone xx
