User

User

Went for champagne afternoon tea over the weekend -very nice. Well looked after by staff and a lovely selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. The weather was hot and sunny so we were able to sit out in the terrace. Glass of champagne and plenty of tea/coffee as well.

User

We had a spa day yesterday ( not knowing it was the royal wedding day when booked ) hoped they would be doing a little something thing.... wow ! they did not disappoint! Bunting, garden party, amazing royal afternoon tea special ! And that was before we’d even got to the spa! This didn’t disappoint either... lovely staff that made us feel amazing both with the treatments we’d booked and their lovely northern charm.... great memories were made x

User

Thank you Nidd Hall, always enjoy a trip out for the afternoon tea wowcher deal, staff so friendly and a great atmosphere and we like the Oak Room rather than the terrace room.

Once more Well Done Nidd Hall.

User

Such a great place to go for afternoon tea. If you have any problem with what you can and cannot eat they do all they can to help.

We will be there again next month great

User

Our third visit here and once again we were absolutely delighted with the whole experience. All the staff work so hard to make certain that from the minute you walk into reception to the sad time that you reluctantly have to leave you are made to feel welcome and everything is to your satisfaction.

Three people in particular that I would like to mention. First of all Richard on the entertainment team. The enthusiasm that he puts into everything that he does. From joining in with the dancing, to his lovely outside concert, before quickly dashing off to set up the archery. Always with a smile on his face.

Secondly, that lovely lady on reception, sorry that I didn't get her name, but she quietly and efficiently sorted out a different room for us.

Third, although I know that he is not part of the team, but for me the best entertainment of the week was from John Moakes. Great to listen to those lovely Rat Pack songs sung with such a swing.

Oh, and thank you for arranging such wonderful weather for us!

User

Nidd Hall is a wonderful venue for the discerning adults only. There are no children here and Warner’s have spared no expense in ensuring that a great time is to be had by all.

Look out for Tim - the General Manager and also for Drew Scarle who leads the entertainment team. Everyone there will look after you and you will have a fab time

It’s a great place.

User

First time at a Warner Adults Only Break. Super place to stay in beautiful surroundings. Lovely rooms and 5 star food, entertainment and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!!

User

Enjoyed a fantastic day at Nidd Hall Hotel today. It really was a fabulous treat. My friends and I loved it. The spa, hotel grounds and tea room made it that extra bit more special but to top it all, THE STAFF were simply outstanding! Can’t wait to return soon.

User

Although the facilities at Nidd Hall are very good. Meals excellent and the waiters can’t do enough for you, entertainment very good. It’s easy to notice that they are short staffed in the café are. Be prepared for a long wait to get served. It’s waiter service so you can’t go and put your order in at the counter.

User

Would have got 5 stars but the games room, tennis courts and bowls green are atrocious 😳

User

Just returned from a short notice break, which turned out to be a sixties festerval, we were placed in the cottage accommodation. We were a bit dubious because of the steps leading up to the front door as my wife has walking difficulties, but once inside we were more than happy. A big shout for Slobodan in the Rawson and Vince in The Great and Small restaurants

For looking after us. Would highly recommend the Great and Small restaurant.

User

Afternoon tea which was very nice but it would have been alot better if you had a choice of sandwich fillings as my wife and I are not overly fond of smoked salmon the selection of cakes was really lovely and the scons are in the top five I have eaten a walk round the grounds afterwards and a checky beer before going home all in all a brilliant afternoon out we would certainly go again

User

It would have been better if the bar had a full selection of draught beer available, apparently snow stopped the delivery arriving. Only one supplier for the whole group, but all guests had no trouble getting there in cars. I am still awaiting a reply as to why they could not buy from a local supplier??

User

First the negatives..

Paid for a Signature room which supposedly had the following extras...

Pillow menu. Bathrobes. Savoury snacks and bottle of wine. None of these were in room so after an hour or so asked reception about it and they said someone would take all to our room. Sometime whilst we were having dinner a bottle of wine appeared in the room..nothing else. Felt no point in asking again as we only had another night to go but very disappointed.

Other niggles were..at least 2 windows in dining room had curtains hanging off hooks..dust and grime on nearly every skirting board throughout whole place..toilet roll holder hanging off wall ..I could go on and the sad thing is most of these things were easily fixable with good cleaning staff and maintenance men. No pride in internal appearance. However the good things were outside grounds were immaculate..food was great and staff were friendly.

Was our second visit but probably the last.
