Nine Lives bar is being taken over by some of our favourite women on the 7th of March, in support of International Women’s Day in association with Cardhu. We have brought together a collective of inspiring women with drinks from leading Brand Ambassadors Kate Jackson and Jenna Ba, with artist Trinity Tristan and DJ VANILLE.
Artist Trinity Tristan will be creating a boob print artwork, involving anyone who would like to take part! In a private part of the bar, Trinity will us...e body paint and print willing participants boobs onto a canvas to encourage body positivity and female empowerment! There will be a silent bid to purchase the artwork during the night and 100% of the proceeds will go to charity.
The bar itself will be taken over by some of the best women in the spirit industry, with drinks created and served by leading Brand Ambassadors; Jenna Ba from Bulleit Bourbon and Kate Jackson from Ketel One, with £1 from each drink sold on the night to be donated to the charity.
The drinks will represent lesser known stories throughout history of the women that created change,
'Space: The Final Frontier' is a drink that Uhura in Star Trek would drink. Dedicated to Nichelle Nichols, who was one of the first black females in a lead role at the time, after her role in Star Trek she became a recruiter for NASA, actually taking POC into space.
'Raise the Flag' is a drink that transports you to Cardhu in the times the Cummings ladies were distilling. A nod to Helen Cumming, the founder of Cardhu distillery in Archiestown. “a most remarkable character and a woman of many resources; she possessed the courage and energy of a man, and in devices and plans to evade the gaugers, no man nor woman could equal her"
If all that wasn't quite enough, there will also be the opportunity to fill in a #MessageToMySister postcard, a global movement by Women for Women International, to send words of hope, encouragement and solidarity to a woman isolated by conflict.
This is an event to support equality for all and is open to all! We bloody love men too!

The whole evening was great - from the vibe in the bar, to the amazing cocktails to the lovely staff! One patient member of staff even politely stood waiting to take a photo of a large group of us whilst we faffed around trying to get everyone in the shot. Thank you to the WHOLE team. We'll be back!

From booking the reservation to the actual evening I can’t fault Nine Lives for their exceptional service. I celebrated my 30th birthday there yesterday and honestly to say a place goes above and beyond is an understatement for Nine Lives. The music, the staff and of course the cocktails were incredible. They truly made myself and my guests feel like family. Thank you all for making my night extra special. I will be back!!!
