We are planning on organising 24hr Carp matches on the big pond at Barons Ponds this summer. It will consist of 10 anglers and £100 will go to the captor of the largest fish. Entry will be 1st come first served and will be £30 (payable in advance) and will be a watercraft draw. Please let us know if you would be interested. Dates to be confirmed. 👍🎣

Here's the 2 largest from yesterday's session on Barons big pond. 13lb 4oz Ghostie mirror and a 17lb 8oz Common. I had 6 runs and landed 4. Plenty of fish seen moving all around the lake. 👍🎣

Productive afternoon session today, of the 10 runs I managed to land 8 Carp and a Tench. Lost a mid 20 at the net but made up for it with the leather, Two Tone, at 21lb 14oz. They were definitely on a low pressure munch!! 👍🎣
What a great days fishing with my boy we had 12 carp in our session and did not want to come home can not wait to get back there
My first visit to Barons Pond today and i was very very impressed not only is it a tidy and well maintained fishery but the owner and the baliffs are a great bunch of guys and very welcoming , i even managed one of the 20lb beautiful fish the lake holds,

I fish both Barons pond and pump station on a pretty regular basis. Steve the bailiff is a really friendly guy and very helpful. I started as a complete novice to coarse fishing but in retirement thought I'd give it a shot, biggest fish now 24.5lb at barons, 17.5lb at pump station, have also had a 2lb 10oz perch at the pump station so there are fish for all skills
I will definitely continue using this fishery!
First time fishing at barons ponds for a few years and I have to say it was a brilliant days fishing would definitely recommend to friends and definitely going back
